! You are truly a genius! We tasted everything you can imagine, truffle, caviar, scallops, lobsters, wagu beef, salmon roe, and so much more! 10,000 stars to this place!!
We started with a glass of the Mily Way Sake and an Agave Raindrop. Both were very good and I definitely recommend it. We ordered a variety of items but started with the truffle salmon. Loved how the truffle paired with the salmon overall and it was very good. We did come during happy hour so had this for the happy hour price. We ordered the Uni King Crab Spoon and the Bafun Uni Sashimi with a quail egg on top. I loved both and loved how buttery the uni was. I also ordered the a5 uni caviar handroll which was very good. Our friends ordered the (Snow Crab) Shaggy Dog Roll, the Jalapeno Roll and the Robusta Maki. All were pretty good but I think I liked the Robusta Maki the best but all were pretty good. The Crudo Hirame was recommended but I think it was either too salty or acidic but I wasn’t the biggest fan. I didn’t know that it also came in the bloofin special that my husband ordered so I would have refrained from ordering it if I had known. The bloofin special came with a sea bass sulmono soup which was amazing, I would recommend ordering that separately. The Hughes Landing Maki was pretty good, i definitely enjoyed that.
Overall, the food was pretty good and some misses for me. I’m not sure if it’s all worth the price but overall very good. I do recommend the agave raindrop and the n/naka cocktails.
Definitely worth coming for happy hour though!
Indulging in a variety of sushi dishes, from fresh fishes to high-quality wagyu, was an absolute treat for the taste buds. The outstanding service further elevated our evening, with our server Annalena being exceptionally sweet and friendly throughout our meal.
Although we were already full from the delicious sushi, we simply couldn’t resist trying the Japanese mochi for dessert and I must say, it was truly a delightful ending to a fantastic meal.
I highly recommend visiting Bloofin for a dining experience that combines delicious food, a beautiful setting, and excellent service.
The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, featuring everything from expertly crafted nigiri to melt-in-your-mouth sashimi and creative rolls that tantalize the taste buds. We also indulged in the sake flight, which, though served at a chilly temperature, was absolutely delightful and complemented our meal perfectly.
The service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The location offers a stunning view, and we were fortunate enough to secure a table by the window, allowing us to enjoy the scenery as we dined. Plus, parking was a breeze, with valet service available for every restaurant in the area. It was an all-around wonderful experience that we can’t wait to repeat!
He absolutely loved it! We made a reservation and they made sure to set aside a booth by the windows, overlooking the Waterway, which was perfect.
Or server, Amber was so sweet and attentive. The manager came out and personally greeted us and told my son Happy Birthday.
This was our first time here and I definitely want to go back now.
We started off with the Red Pepper Calamari. Holy moly! Best calamari I’ve ever had. The texture was perfect. And it was drizzled with a sweet n spicy glaze. Yum! It was a HIT
I ordered the Glazed Teriyaki Salmon and it was perfect. It was served on a bed of broccoli and carrots, with a side of white rice. Beautiful presentation but most importantly…. delicious!
Everyone kept asking me repeatedly for ‘just a bite’. Lol.
My husband got the Shaggy Roll and my daughter got the Wagyu sushi roll.
Both looked stunning, plated so nicely, and they were very pleased and were happily sampling eachothers’ plates too.
My son the Birthday Boy, ordered the Bloofin Special. It was an amazing choice!
The presentation was stunning and he loved trying so many different choices!
Such a gorgeous presentation. They came out with a wood box, logo engraved, and it was inset with colorful flower bowls, each one filled with a different sushi sampling.
He had a lot of fun deciding which one to choose next.
They proceed a birthday dessert of creme brulee with a choice of souffle, raspberry, mango and espresso.
He had the raspberry sorbet, my daughter ordered one too, and she chose the espresso.
Can’t say enough good things about Bloofin
This was exactly what he was hoping for. Thank you!
Service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. Our waitress greeted us within two minutes and had our drinks on the way right after. Appetizers arrived quickly and were followed by beautifully presented sushi that didn’t disappoint.
Bloofin Sushi has easily earned a top spot on our list of sushi restaurants in The Woodlands. Can’t recommend it enough—definitely worth a visit!
