Reviews
From the moment we walked in, the space felt super warm and cozy, the kind of neighborhood spot you instantly relax into.
We ordered the Thai Chili Wings, Tomato Bisque, and a side of Coleslaw, and honestly—everything was fantastic. The wings were a clear standout: perfectly cooked with bold, balanced flavor that easily earns them a spot among the best wings in Rhode Island. The tomato bisque which came with a garlic crostini was comforting and rich, and the coleslaw was fresh and well-seasoned, not just an afterthought.
The service deserves a shoutout too. The staff—and especially our server—were professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which elevated the whole experience.
All in all, a great experience from start to finish. makmak Eatery is now firmly one of our top picks for wings, and we’ll absolutely be back.
Not only is brunch amazing, but dinner here is just as incredible. Truly the best place in town for a delicious meal any time of day! Highly recommend!
I stopped by for the Food fights best wings comp, I tried both the buffalo + sweet / spicy wings. Both were really good! First things first, The wings themselves are cooked perfectly, tasteful, juicy, and have a good crisp on them. Take it up a notch with house-made sauces they offer and you have a wonderful combination. They also offer house-made ranch and blue cheese.
Although I went for the wings I’ll definitely be back for the other food options.
I gave in and tried the s’mores brownie for dessert. The presentation was on point, locally sourced fresh ice cream and a perfectly warmed up super rich brownie. Can’t beat it.
The restaurant has a cool, dimly lit, candle at the table vibe. This is definitely a good intimate date spot. The service was excellent, the entire time it felt like I was being taken care of rather than waited on.
