Social Profile:

Little Guatemala shares Guatemalan culture on the streets of Morganton, NC through freshly roasted coffee, bean-to-bar chocolate, indoor soccer, fair trade crafts, and street food. We are currently roasting coffee and crafting chocolate for sale at the Morganton Farmers Market, Morganton General Store, Food Matters, Lake James State Park, and Mi Pais. Restaurants like Homers, Overmountain Cycles, and Appalachian Table also brew and serve our coffee. We are working on the building at 810 East Union Street to open for the indoor soccer, craft market, and street food. Un abrazo! — La familia Ramazzini

Possibly the coolest coffee shop I have been to! The soccer fields were awesome, loved playing soccer with my kids. Very cute outdoor seating patio, love the vibe! Good coffee too!

What a cool place! We had a delicious brunch on the patio. I loved the Guatemalan Breakfast – comes with eggs, black beans, plantains, and homemade tortillas. I also tried the horchata. It was too floral-y for me, but I saw others enjoying it so must be a personal preference. My partner really liked his enchiladas (these are not the same as Mexican enchiladas so ask for a description) and coffee. Service was great as well. Will have to come back to try the chocolate.

Little Guatemala❤️. Like the website says: Coffee roaster and restaurant offering freshly roasted coffee and Guatemalan fare in a relaxed setting. They have two soccer fields, one inside the establishment and one outside. Freshly made food with typical Guatemalan flavors and a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere. They have souvenirs, coffee beans, magnets, but this time I really wanted to get some chocolate. They explained to me that they no longer had it in November last year because they couldn’t produce it, but I hope they’ll have it again soon.

A local treasure! We are so fortunate that our little town has a cultural gem like this! Freshly roasted coffee by the cup or by the pound. Also, handmade Guatemalan crafts and imported snacks. The staff is kind and patient with my Duolingo Spanish. There’s great outside seating. I’ve only eaten their breakfast, which was exceptional and very authentic. I had eggs with beans and bacon, thick tortillas and a lovely chunk of fresh cheese, along with a well made cortado. Also locally owned, which really matters in a community our size. Don’t sleep on this awesome spot for coffee and homemade style meals. Oh, almost forgot, there’s also indoor soccer/futsal! They also temper their own chocolate!

Stopped here on the way through town for tacos and papusas. The steak on the taco was great and the tortillas handmade. The papusas were okay, could have used a little more filling! The salsa was bland and the hot sauces on the table not very good. I would come back again!

An authentic Guatemalan breakfast! I enjoyed this exact breakfast almost every morning when I visited Guatemala and I was so excited to have it here. Filling and well-rounded. The decoration and atmosphere is very nice and they even roast their own coffee beans here. Morganton, I hope you know what you’ve got!

My biggest regret is not living closer to Little Guatemala! I live in Charlotte and have made the trip here a couple times now. The coffee is delicious and their traditional dishes are authentic and soo good! The space itself has such great vives — truly feels like a visit to Guatemala. The space is gorgeous — the owners have been so innovative and creative in making this space enjoyable for all!
