Doesn’t taste like Indian food. Not saying anything is bad, but man, doesn’t taste like Indian food at all. No wonder they entice you with buy one get one free on so many items. The chicken tikka masala tastes like a tomato soup, not that I dislike tomato soup, but it doesn’t have the Indian spices and taste. The chicken is well cooked and tender, so no problem there. Same on the palak paneer. There’s not much paneer in there, but at least that has the taste and texture you’d expect. There’s plenty of creamed spinach in there, but again, not the Indian spices and flavor you’d expect. It tastes more like it’s spiced with black pepper to give it a little kick. The garlic naan is good and what you’d expect. But overall just disappointing that it doesn’t have the Indian spices and flavors or even aromas that you’d expect. Again, it’s not bad, I’ll eat it, it just doesn’t taste like Indian food though. And I’ve been a big fan of Indian food since I was 15. I have yet to find some really good Indian food in Portland though. I’m better off loading up on the frozen Indian meals at Trader Joe’s. Or just getting Thai. The Thai places here are all on point.

Great! Super super filling 20 dollars each and it was all good food. The korma was good and my cousin liked it. And I liked the butter chicken.

For the $14 price for the lunch buffet, it’s good. Fountain drink, fresh salad bar, and soft serve ice cream is included. Was in Portland for work for a couple of weeks. It’s located near my hotel and parking nearby is available. Fresh food and clean restaurant. Love the chicken curry and the Mango soft serve is a must. Even brought my brother here for lunch and he enjoyed it. They had a good flow of dine-in, carry-out, and online orders from what I saw. Very good for the price. Highly recommend to family and friends!

I ordered the Chicken Briyani and I’ve never seen food this sad. The rice was mushy, no flavors. Honestly it’s an insult to chicken Briyani. It’s made with no care for a customer. It’s behind me how they are confident enough to sell this food. Look at attached picture for more.

Visited this place for dinner and had a buffet. The experience was okay, can’t say it was a great Indian place but definitely a decent one. There were both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. There was no other staff attending to customers except for one person at the cash counter. The food was worth the price.l, seating was available for 20 people or so. The place was not crowded.
Restrooms were okay to use, street parking is available nearby along with a parking lot at walking distance.
The place doesn’t have ambiance of special occasion but I can recommend this place if you are looking for Indian cuisine nearby at reasonable price.

I ordered masala aloo gobi. Not only the quantity but also the taste was pathetic. It had too much oil that it gave stomachache. The potatoes weren’t even cooked well. The pieces were too big too.

Got the basics, Chicken Tikka & Lamb Curry, Butter & Garlic Naan. The chicken was extremely dry and the sauce had no flavor. The lamb was extremely tough and sauce had no flavor. The naan was okay but too thick and was too chewy. Definitely a lackluster meal, for $20 per plate +, I don’t recommend and will not have again. First strike and you’re out.

Won’t be back. Folks are probably nice people but at 1:30 the food was lukewarm at best. Most was below that in temp. $20 for a lunch plate. Over half the dishes didn’t have signs on them. Seating is awkward at best. Ice cream machine out of service next to a stack of boxes that must be paper towels in bulk by the bathroom.

I would have to say one my my worst Indian food experiences. The price for buffet was good but the quality of food and flavors lacked. The rice was dry and under hydrated too. Would be great if they had half the number of dishes and spent more time on quality. What was surprising was they were busy with orders. Portlandians are so used to bland sandwiches that any slight hint of cultural cuisine pleases them. Their Naan was good and so was the goat curry

My financial goal is to be able to eat here for every meal. During lockdown it was the first thing I wanted to come back and eat. I love a good buffet. Definitely dine in.
