Quite possibly the best little restaurant in Bellingham that I’ve been to.
I got potato dumplings in the triple chili butter sauce, my brother got the classic in the creamy basil pesto sauce, and my daughter got the chicken in garlic herb butter sauce.
The server was incredibly sweet and helpful in making decisions for those of us who were indecisive (me and my daughter).
We had the tea service, as well, which comes in these cute little glasses.
We also got dessert.
They had the strawberry cake and I got the black tea creme brulee. Absolutely fantastic.
10 stars all around.

Scrumptious from the first bite ‘til the last. My wife and I were sharing from each other’s plates the whole time, mixing sauces, and really enjoying our meal. The Single 1/2 lbs. meal is a perfect individual portion and I adore the presentation with the little plates. We’re definitely going to be repeat customers and mixing it up with flavor combos.

Been wanting to try this place since they opened and so glad I finally got to!! Really good dumplings, I found the portion sizes to be perfect. I had chicken pelmeni in Onion Dill w/ Chili sauce, which I definitely recommend! I’m gonna have to keep coming here til I try all the sauces… 🙂

Order at the counter but water jug and food is delivered to the table. We had the 1/2 lb chicken with pesto sauce and the potato with garlic/herb/parm. We preferred the chicken one but they were both good! Very good portion size, quick, and hot.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and it was pretty empty. There were candles and roses and dumplings – what more could you want? My husband and I shared 1lb garlic herb and it was the perfect amount and sooooo tasty!!! I also got a side of picked veggies which helped break up the richness of the dumplings. So good all around!

Went to Hey Dumplin today and I’m seriously impressed. I got the 1 lb dumpling plate, half Classic Pelmeni and half Chicken, and every bite was perfect — soft, rich, and full of flavor.
Tried four sauces: Sweet Chili Soy, Triple Chili Butter, Charred Garlic Thyme, and Tuscan Tomato Parm — and honestly, they were all killer. if i Had to pick a favorite it was the Sweet chili for sure
The vibe in there was awesome — chill, clean, and super friendly service. Everything came out looking great and tasted even better. Definitely one of those places you instantly want to come back to.

The variety of sauces was what sets Hey Dumplin apart. We ordered one plate of the classic Pelmeni and one plate of Chicken dumplings along with four sauces. Everything was delicious. Also plenty filling for two people as we took home a handful of dumplin for later.

This place was great. Our portion sizes were a perfect match for our wants. The choices for sauces are plentiful making future trips unique each time because of the numerous variations that are presented. This place is perfect for a lunch. Sure you can eat dinner here and it appeared many people already do either with carry-out or dining in, but it’s built for the lunch crowd. With your patronage this could really turn into a neighborhood gem. Like your favorite teriyaki spot, just you know, serving dumplings instead. The ladies serving were attentive and very helpful at the order counter, noticing that it was our first time there. Helpfully explaining serving sizes and sauce flavorings that we seemed to be confused about. We will be going back one day and it’ll be at the top of our considerations when we find ourselves in Bellingham around lunchtime.

What a gem!! If you just want a warm tasty dinner, this is the jam. Great sauces to pick from. The sides are incredible too!! I absolutely adoore the carrot salad! The beet salad is perfect too. Totally my new favorite go-to. Easily. AND they have white kvass!!

Ordered the 1lb of dumplings for $25 bucks and that was more then enough for two people. The food was so good that me and my fiancee just went silent while eating. They had a banger soundtrack on in the background. Excellent vibes. Would reccomend.
