I thought Jimmy John’s was supposed to be freaky fast. My boyfriend and I went to this location because it was on our way to an event that we were barely on time for. Three minutes after we put in our order, we arrived and there was only one worker in the front, just walking around with his hands in his pockets. There was no rush to complete our order. He also had to get someone else to help him make the sandwiches. I did see, however, that there were a total of four people working, so I am confused as to why our order didn’t get out in a timely manner.

Great sub style sandwiches in a convenient location. The online ordering system is very thorough and comprehensive for people with dietary or food allergy needs. Food was ready and didn’t have to wait upon pickup. Will be a regular here.

I’ve ordered online for years but the past 6 months have been completely trash from wrong orders, missing food and the fact that you wait over a hour after it says out for delivery every time is crazy to me to not even receive the correct order or your drink to be completely watered down because it waited so long. Dont know what’s going on at this location but they need to get it together because freaky fast is not a thing here!

I place a mobile pickup 1 hour before they closed. Not a complicated order because I understand closing in fast food places. Just chips and a simple sandwich. I walk inside, not greeted, just looked at. I wasn’t sure if the pick up was ready because the app didn’t say it was. I also rarely order from Jimmy John’s. So once a worker comes to the register, I say I had a mobile order. He just points to the mobile order rack I didn’t see as I walked in. Not one single word was exchanged with this experience. This is not customer service. I was shocked once I left.

Terrible experience. I was handed the wrong pickup order because it wasn’t ready when I got there. I didn’t notice until I got home. I called and was told they were “too busy” to deal with it. Then I was ignored by being put on hold. They thought I would hang up. After 30 minutes I hung up and called back only to get hung up on immediately. This place is super unprofessional and has terrible customer service.

This review is for the awesome manager that was there at lunchtime today. The staff was swamped with both online and in-store orders; the busiest I have ever seen them! The service was slow, as it seemed they were short staffed or probably training new staff. But, the manager kept apologizing to people in the store (and some on the phone) and, most impressive, encouraging his employees and thanking them for his efforts. It was great to see! We had three orders in our group and one wasn’t exactly what she ordered (hence the 4-star rating). But the manager saved the experience for me!

5 out of 5 stars for me. Pretty empty in there, easy to order, and the staff were super, super chill and polite. Definitely my favorite Jimmy John’s in Rockford, with plenty of parking and tables inside as well!
