So we decided to check this place out because it had a 4.3 rating I really don’t understand how… we order 4 plates with 3 item each. great price for the amount of food you get (larger portion) but the quality and taste was not there I’ve gone to A LOT of other Chinese restaurants all over the bay and this one is hands down at the bottom of the list every tasted old and greasy, like yesterday food that has sat all day and got reheated the next day. That type of texture and taste. I would not recommend this place as it currently is oh yeah I forgot to mention there was 2 homeless individuals passed out as we walked in, really classy joint……

Very good food we got 3 plates. The place gets busy from my first time going there but the problem is when you go pay for the food i wish it was a bit faster it could also be a bit more clean or with more drink options other than that i’d recommend

I was really disappointed with the food here, as it didn’t live up to the 4.3 Google rating at all for me. This felt like some of the weakest American Chinese takeout I’ve tried in the area. The fried dishes were bland and under-seasoned with almost no flavor beyond basic oil. The rice and noodles were just heavy on soy sauce—no real depth, aromatics, or balance to make them enjoyable. The BBQ pork came across as unmarinated and plain, lacking the usual sweet-savory glaze, tenderness, or char you’d expect in classic American Chinese BBQ pork. Really good food, I can’t finish because of the large portions. I loved the chicken, I ordered the chicken fried rice, sesame chicken and orange chicken. The drinks are definitely cheaper than 7-11 would be, and if you ask for a bottle opener they will provide. Really good food and great service!

Anytime you see Asia Delight in a city, go. Best value for a variety of Chinese food, and lots of it. Pictured is half fried rice/half chow mein topped with curry sauce, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, and salt pepper fish for under $15. No need to wait for a lunch special – prices stay the same all day.
Fun thing is that Asia Delight has different items in San Pablo and Castro Valley, but the prices at all of them are the same. Staff is always great and always deserve their tip.

I grew up eating here and hadn’t had it in years. The food still tastes good and you can’t beat the price. However, due to my GI sensitivities, the food gave me a small stomach ache.

This is the second time I go and they do this to me during rush hour. I ask for double orange chicken and they only give me one but charge me for a full plate. Definitely recommend checking your boxes before you leave.

I absolutely love my 2 asia delights. This one has more quality then quantity vs the one closer to foodmax has more quantity over quality. Both are great for non cooking days and still much healthier than any fast food. Lol
