I visited the Nordstrom Cafe in Virginia and had a great experience. The food was really good and everything was delicious. The quality and flavor were on point, and the overall atmosphere was nice and relaxing. It was a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others.

I have had many lunches and dinners at the cafe over the last few years. The consistency and quality of the food and service has been amazing. Today we enjoyed the wild salmon with couscous and it was cooked to perfection once again. I cannot stress enough how the food is delicious and the service is prompt and friendly EVERY visit. Truly enjoyed our visit-WELL DONE!

We arrived at ~6:45 and were a bit concerned that the restaurant was not very busy and looked almost closed but it wasn’t. We had the skirt steak and wild salmon. Both tasted very good and were well prepared. Service was friendly and quick. Based on our experience, we were wondering why more people weren’t eating here. Thanks for a good meal after a day of traveling and sight seeing.

When I went there it was to stop by for a quick drink which was just 2 waters with my friend. Paid and was told it would be brought, it was not. Went up there and told same thing 5 minutes later. 5 minutes after that drinks are still just sitting and counter and are only given after a parent talked to them and they told her yet again drinks would be brought, she put them in third place. What place refuses to give you your paid water until you get your actual food?

Im back once more to leaving a glowing review for the staff/family at marketplace cafe. This community run restaurant is still by far one of the best spots in arlington. Fresh ingredients, fair market prices and where everyone wants to know you by name. Cj, Justin, Criss, Rah and many many more make every visit memorable. Oh the creme brulee is silky smooth with just the right amount of a the flaky layer of torched sugar. When you Crack in , you will see.

I can’t think of the gentleman’s name (tall and of Arab descent, I believe), at Cafe Nordstrom (Pent C.), but he provided exceptional service. I was a bit taken aback by the menu prices, as I simply wanted a small sandwich. He noticed my reaction to the prices and instead of pushing me away, his service actually became better. I’m BIG on service, so after I ate a small soup, I decided the only right thing to do was provide the gentleman with a handsome tip – 4x the amount of meal. I say this because, good customer service is HARD to find. And he went over and beyond not to judge me based on my reaction to menu prices. Never judge – you don’t know what people have.

I stopped here for an impromptu lunch after some shopping. I’m always wary eating out because I have celiac disease and many restaurants are not conscientious of my allergy. I decided to order the green goddess salad (without the gluten containing ingredients) and they were able to accommodate me. They even double checked to see if the dressing had any gluten containing ingredients. The salad was great, and the service was very friendly! Highly recommended for those with and without dietary restrictions.

My intuition brought me to this place today. I was expecting the best from this small, unpretentious cafe. I was pleasantly surprised of the space, music and overall feel. I took one look at the menu and new that I was in for a real treat. I was in line and sparked up a conversation with “Beth” in for her favorite lemon cookie, She was gracious enough to buy me one too! I “dined in”. Every “staff member” wore a smile and offered the specials. Driss was a dream! It’s literally service you dream of, you must go just to meet Driss. He is awesome. The FOOD, The FOOD some of the best quality food is I’ve eaten. I am also chef and if your a foodie like me this is WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. I love food that make go Mmmm. Get in there while the getting is good because this place is about to blow up Michelin star status
