We could not have been happier with our decision to choose Signature Desserts for our wedding cake and desserts! From our first consultation with Linda, to the final product on our big day, the experience was wonderful. Our wedding cake was exactly what I had envisioned, using the gold leaf design I requested and the flavors (two tiers of chocolate batter w/vanilla buttercream and one tier of vanilla batter, Italian raspberry and peanut butter filling) we chose were amazing. In addition to the cake, we ordered individual cheesecakes for all of our guests, and they were an absolute hit! We received so many compliments on how delicious everything was.

Linda & Steve were amazing to work with! We felt cared for as one of their own family members as soon as we sat down for our initial tasting. Signature Desserts in Castle Shannon was truly a delightful experience. There was plenty of parking available. The shop itself was a charming, cozy little spot. As soon as I walked in, the wonderful smell of freshly baked treats welcomed me. The tempting sweets were almost right in front of me. The staff were warm and grateful for the customers. I have to mention that the variety of items wasn’t as plentiful as I had hoped. There weren’t many options for single slices of cake, but there were plenty of whole round cakes to choose from. The prices were fair compared to other bakeries in the area. And let me tell you, the taste was outstanding. Absolutely mouthwatering. You can really tell that they prioritize quality over quantity.

Had to leave a review just to say that the carrot cake cheesecake was literally the best dessert I’ve ever tasted! Layers of carrot cake, dense cheesecake and cream cheese icing… It sounded too good to be true, and the price tag was daunting, but it lived up to the expectations!

Stopped in while waiting for my laundry to finish up and I’m so glad I did! I got a fruit based cheesecake, an Oreo cheesecake and some oatmeal cookies. First of all, the staff was increasingly nice! I would go back just for that alone. Our cheesecake was perfectly balanced, not too sweet! The crust was a cake-ish bottom. The cookies were delicious! I’m definitely going back for more! Prices were very fair.

They made the 30th birthday cake of my dreams!! It turned out exactly as I envisioned it, and of course, tasted incredible. It was a funfetti cake with buttercream on the outside and cream cheese filling on the inside. Ordering a custom cake with Signature Desserts is also a breeze. I have to say, there were zero leftovers from the party because everyone had to get a slice of this cake.

This bakery has exceeded my expectation every time I place an order with them. They’re family owned and have the friendliest staff on hand. When my now husband and I did our wedding cake consultation/tasting they even walked our baby around the bakery to help us out. The level of attention and dedication to their art of baking is astounding. Our son’s cake and wedding cake surpassed our expectations. 10/10!
