The Cafe is part of Living Free Health & Fitness A NonProfit Corporation. Some call it a “recovery” Cafe – and for good reason. We employ primarily people who are in recovery from addiction, or are recovering / rebuilding from other challenges, such as domestic violence. We’re a family-friendly, non-toxic workplace. Our team members are taught culinary, inventory and business management skills. The Cafe is open to the public, and you’ll quickly see – via superior service, value, quality and attitude – why Living Free Cafe is such a special place. Aside from providing employment opportunities, net proceeds from the Cafe support the charitable work of Living Free Health – including subsidized and free treatment, recovery housing, and more!

My son took me for breakfast for the first time at this wonderful little restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere was so people friendly, with its books in the corner shelves and original art from local artists on their wall. It makes this place so inviting and warm. I was truly surprised when my breakfast came to me in large portions sizes that enables one to take some food home. The food so was good and so fresh/ a perfect breakfast for me. I had their omelet breakfast, and it’s the best omelet I have had in a long time. Love this place and can’t wait to come back. Thank you❤️

Honestly the best food and service that we had in Pahrump.
The portions were huge and everything cooked perfectly. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Plus the it feels better to support recovery vs another casino or corporate chain.

Excellent breakfast. Had the veggie omelet, Belgian waffles, sausage and hash browns. Great portions. Wait staff was very attentive. Plenty of parking. They have artwork which I assume it local for purchase around the restaurant. They also have a corner where you can leave a book take a book. Neat place supporting a great cause. Will be back for lunch!

Absolutely loved stopping in at this cafe on our way through Death Valley recently. The cornbread and chili were killer! Holy moly the cornbread was perfect – crusty outer layer with some crunch while the interior was a perfect balance of moist / fluffy, all with some butter n honey on top.
Plus the interior feels like all the homey spots I remember growing up in the southwest. Lots of beautiful local art on the walls too. Loved the various friendly burros peering out from paintings.

Brought our 90 year old grandparents here in 2 days because they loved it so much. We had breakfast and dinner! The grandparents had no complaints and LOVED the frappes! Those things are huge and they each finished their own!
The staff is friendly and patient, especially with older guest. Everything tasted good and I came back a 3rd time to get the Funky Monkey Frappe!
