Have never been to Black Mountain. After 4.5 hrs of driving, got a wild hair & looked up live music near me. Lucky me! Put on my big girl panties, left dog in airbnb, & ..SO GLAD I did. That was a Thursday night..went back Saturday night w/friends! Great vibes, awesome margaritas, friendly staff, pets welcomed..& the 2 man guitar show was on point! Nice meeting you Budd & the awesome back bartender girlie (mad I can’t member name) Shout out to “PIP”, aka the guy wearing a yellow Whitney Houston sweatshirt Old Town District is my jam. I’ll be back!

Always a great place to grab some drinks (beer and wine). Indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly service and a fantastic atmosphere! Parking on the street, at the closed bank nearby and plenty of street parking. Add it to one of your many stops and then go again!

My favorite bar in Black Mountain… actually Asheville too. They have a beautiful courtyard with music almost every night, Thursday Billy Presnell and friends are the best, 5 TVs to watch any sport you want, kid friendly, food trucks in the gravel lot adjacent, the owners are AMAZING… seriously my favorite place to be.
