The food was delicious, and the flavors were the same as when I tried them in Indonesia. I would recommend for anyone looking for Halal traditional and freshly made and super delicious Indonesian dishes. I suggest getting the ‘Sate Campur’.

I just moved here recently so finding an indonesian place was really a touching moment for me lol. It’s a small place, but it feels very indonesian lol. Their menu is a rather wide spectrum of indonesian food, i wish i could try everything!
I tried tongseng kambing, es tape doger, and my husband had nasi bungkus.
Tongseng kambing was delicious! Dang, I wish it had more with that price point (I am comparing it with indonesian value) and the es tape was good but i wish the tape was more.. fermented? it wasn’t as sour as i hoped it to be.
I didn’t really get to try much of the nasi bungkus but it was good afaik. Oh and i wish the sambal was more spicy!
I will return!!

Amazing authentic home made halal Indonesian food.
You can’t find restaurants like this in other cities.
Ask the chef for the recommendations. I ordered the rice dish that he recommended (similar to nasi goreng I just forget the name) and it was heavenly.
The beef skewer and the dessert (Cendol) were so good too!

INDONESIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – You can imagine Toko Rame being around after another 40 years and changing about as much as it has in the first 40. After being told about it from friends, new customers at that time will be so delighted by their meals that they will tell others. Time goes on and food and trends change, but Toko Rame will keep its hand steady and satisfying.
