This is the place! You cannot get better food, atmosphere and company than Finley’s Bar & Grill. The food, excellent quality cooked with care. Everything is fresh and something you would be proud to serve in your own home. Seasoning, on point. Atmosphere, comforting and relaxing. You feel like you are taken back in time to when diners took the time to relax and savor every morsel. It’s the kind of place you will seek out, time and time again to enjoy a few moments of true satisfaction. Five stars.

Tucked in behind trees that I’ve driven past a million times is a little piece of classy history called Finley’s Bar and Grill. Walking in, as your eyes adjust to the soft light- you are met with old school charm. The decor is stunning. We were told of the days specials by a very delightful woman that acted as both hostess and server, as well as barmaid. you can tell that she has been here a very long while as she explained the history of it all. I had trouble retaining what she told me in detail to share here as I was into my second gin and tonic! Anyway the food was excellent and the value for dollar was very fair. this is one place that I know I will be going again.

I had a working lunch meeting here. I was not able to enjoy the food due to the amount of talking and the work that was able to get completed. It happens regularly when we try to work and do lunch! The service was absolutely amazing. Our server was the sweetest person. The atmosphere was super quiet which worked out well for the working lunch. The only drawback for us was that there was no WiFi that we could find so we ended up using our cell phones but that ok. The bar was stacked up well with plenty of amazing looking adult beverage options!

How have I never made a review about this place because I think I’ve ate here several times. When I come to visit Nelson BC this is a must place to go to Just because the atmosphere is so nice and the people that work here or even better. I tried something different off the menus I think this was some kind of a garlic Burger it was so good there sweet potato fries are even better and the salad is something to try as well. I don’t think I could finish all of this. I then left and had to come back to watch the Seattle Kraken game because I’m from Washington and it was on all their TVs and it’s a playoff game and I met some really nice ladies there and I’m so glad I did because there was music plan and we were dancing and drinking and it was just the best place all kinds of Ages of people let me just tell you you don’t have to be young to go there you will have a good time. And the people that work there on top of their stuff it was so good thank you thank you I will be back from the United States

This place will keep your attention all night long. A Beautiful Victorian type house with beautiful things all over the walls, a piano, Great long bar and wonderful drinks. Rooms are sectioned off so you can be in an area by yourself or with a group. Steaks that melt in your mouth and service like your special. If you haven’t been there ,treat yourself and make someone feel special.
