On a special Saturday night in December we wanted to try a local business that is fairly new to celebrate our milestone. We decided on Blue Buffalo on the recommendation of a friend in Duncannon. We were hoping for a small quiet place with decent food and friendly service. Boy were our expectations ever exceeded. The greeting and attentive service were top notch all throughout our long stay. The food was AMAZING from the taste and quality to the five star presentation (I had the Bourbon Salmon with fresh asparagus). The REAL mashed potatoes were as good as my grandma’s! The manager came back to our corner to ask not only if everything was to our satisfaction but also stayed for a minute to ask us about the special occasion we were celebrating! The atmosphere was just right from the music to the decor. Thank you so much to all the people behind this superior experience. We will definitely tell our friends and be back for more elegant memories!

This establishment is beyond wonderful! The manager was so polite and so attentive and made us feel so welcomed! Chef Tommy is an absolutely incredible chef! The REAL mashed potatoes was a win for me but the steak was good beyond perfection! I have paid significantly higher prices for far less at other places so now when I am in the mood for a good steak I know exactly where my family is going! My boyfriend says his chicken Alfredo was absolutely delicious and the salad was fresh and crispy! Thank you Blue Buffalo Tavern for bringing another option for local residents to eat great and for continuing to take on historical buildings and giving them life and purpose again while still making sure the pieces of history remain! P.s. thanks for the sneak peak of the magic show to come! We are super excited and already started telling many people!

Girlfriend got New York strip, loaded mashed potatoes, and asparagus and everything was cooked perfect and absolutely delicious! I got Chicken Alfredo with a salad and it was some of the best Alfredo I’ve ever had and the salad was very fresh. Prices are right and you certainly get a lot of food, staff super friendly and attentive and very relaxing atmosphere

Was really in the mood got a burger & somewhere new. This was the first time going and I’m soo glad we did. We had fried pickles with ranch which was incredible because the breading NEVER fell off or crumbled & it was perfectly fried! I got the Chef’s Slab burger and I was beyond blown away! Can’t wait to go back!

We heard this was a great new restaurant and like to support local but it was a big disappointment.
The scallops wrapped in bacon were very good
There was a special of Salisbury steak with a baked potato, and my husband said it was very, very salty.
Fettuccine Alfredo was nothing special. The Alfredo tasted like it came out of a jar. I definitely needed pepper because it was pretty bland.
And the salad with scallops on top with blush pears was a disaster. The salad greens were nice, but the scallops pears and blueberries were a pile of mush, just sitting on top of the greens.
The side salads look nice, although they were very small, but they also looked like they had been sitting on top of each other inside of the refrigerator.
On a positive note the fries, Wings and chicken fingers were good. My son said the catfish was good, but the portion was small
Our waitress, barely keep up with the tables she had so the kitchen staff ended up, bringing our food out to us.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Food was so good. When first glancing the menu, prices seemed a bit high. However, after the relaxed service, quality of food, friendly staff, and addition of music as well, it was well worth the price. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mushroom appetizer was so simple, but delicious. Wings were spot on. Crispy, juicy, and the buffalo sauce – yum! Also tried the caramelized squash medley and roasted Brussels sprouts, both delicious. Live entertainment on the patio was a nice addition. Can’t wait to return again.

Lovely service with delicious food in an amazing historic atmosphere. The owner put together a really interesting history booklet that is available for guests to read showcasing the recent renovations.
