Came here for a birthday dinner and the staff was super nice and even though we came at the wrong time they seated us early which was super nice!
We got the four course meal and each course was truly much food – the homemade bread was super tasty and fresh. The pork loin was incredibly flavorful as well and I loved the short rib though it was almost too much food at the end of it. I really enjoyed the artichoke hearts – I usually don’t like artichokes but I somehow really loved the way they cooked it here.
The cream puffs were just alright but still a nice touch.
They even gave me cookies for my birthday dinner!
Overall a nice and romantic vibe and some solid food options!

Food was delicious. Service impeccable. At one point, we had three people at oir tae doing separate tasks. Dinner was pricey but suppots a living wage.
Sunday supper is prix fixed and served family style. Felt good to eat this way. Relaxes the whole experience.

Just okay. And normally that wouldn’t be a big deal but this place is so overhyped and after dining here I can truly say it’s also over priced. I was really looking forward to eating here based on all the great reviews and made a reservation for a special occasion. To my great disappointment the food was bland, lacking any kind of oomph at all, and was extremely forgettable. That’s a crime when you take into account the steep prices they charge, and an almost unforgivable one when you realize the great ingredients they work with. I just moved here from NY and the cliché is that chefs on the west coast don’t try hard and have to be less creative, possibly due to the quality of ingredients here. Now, I’ve had plenty of experiences in LA, SF, and the East Bay to prove otherwise. Unfortunately this was not one of them. Wake up, Homestead, and try to get excited about the opportunity to not just serve great ingredients but also layer flavors to serve great composed dishes. My experience makes me wonder if your name is short for (eat at)Home(in)stead.

We went on Sunday and had a set menu. It was a breakfast theme for dinner! Really enjoyed the steak and eggs, as well as the homemade jam.
Dessert wasn’t amazing, which was a shame. Prices about $10/plate too high. But overall enjoyed the dinner.

This place is amazing.There sandwiches are yummy! Besides the spacious clean and comfortable atmosphere, the staff was really nice! Shortly after ordering,my boyfreind, realized he locked his keys in the car. Jeff , a very sweet employee helped out by providing some items to open the door with.Best of all he reheated our sandwhiches and comped us with chips and orangina. This is my kind of service! We had a nice lunch and made a new friend. I highly recommend Homestead!!!

Delicious! I chose this as my birthday dinner and absolutely adored everything that was served. The vegetarian options were also very thoughtful and filling and I definitely appreciate being treated like a normal patron with portion sizing and a nutrient dense filling meal.
Restaurants like Homestead are where Bay Area and California dining shine the brightest. A structural appreciation of seasonal and fresh ingredients just sets it a step above the rest.
The service was also excellent!

Amazing food, incredible service. They have a lovely patio for outdoor dining and have taken great precautions for Covid. I love that gratuity is built in so I know the waitstaff is making a good wage.
They really balanced good service with comfortable, appropriate precautions. I wanted to have a celebratory meal but only if it was safe, and I was so happy to be able to support a restaurant I love. The food was seasonal, delicious, and perfectly prepared. We brought tour own wine, but that was smooth and corkage is reasonable. Overall, just another fantastic experience at Homestead.
