I couldn’t have made a better choice than having lunch at the Ashbrook Restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a charming European feel. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was excellent, every dish I tried was delicious, and even the coffee was top quality. The menu offers a wide variety of tempting options. Highly recommend!

The service Ryan and his fellow server provided was excellent. We did not have to ask for refills of our water at any time, the time between our appetizer and food was great. I have some food allergies and Victoria, the sous chef, came out to our table to work with me so I could order something. My gnocchi and scallops were perfectly prepared. My fiancé’s burger “very good” in his words. The food was absolutely delicious. My fiancé and I could not recommend this place enough.

For Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend booked a reservation at The Ashbrook for dinner. It was absolutely delicious! Our server was incredibly attentive and the food was excellent. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine and a glass of white wine. It was incredible, I cleaned my plate! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful. It was an extremely comforting dish.

I had been the The Ashbrook before but just to the bar for a networking event. The cocktails are terrific and the selection of liquor is diverse. Haley the bartender always creates fun drinks that are innovative and delightful. I highly recommend the restaurant and the history of the hotel is fascinating too.

Stopped in late for dinner with my brother. Ryan did a great job, with friendly fast service and a great appetizer recommendation. I enjoyed the short rib entree and my brother had the Main Street burger. Both were great.

Stellar bourbon selection. Worth a visit the next time you are in Frankfort.

It was our first time and definitely not our last. We had the shrimp and wontons for our appetizer which was a little disappointing (barely any filling and slightly burnt). The cod was fantastic and the boujee Mac and cheese was very tasty. Oh and the drinks were fantastic also. Overall we were very pleased and will definitely be back!

Had dinner with friends last night at the Ashbrook. I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised that Frankfort has such an offering! The food was amazing. Bernadette, our server, was great and knew every little detail about the menu choices! I respect SO much the utilization and remodeling of this historic home into a beautiful bed and breakfast! Thank you for keeping the historic feel and look of this former stately home. I cannot say enough good things about the food! I had the Boujee Mac n Cheese with pan seared scallops and shrimp that was simply delicious. My friends’ dinner choices were equally delicious, they tell me. For dessert I had the Brown Butter Cake that was scrumptious and went so well with after dinner coffee. One of my friends had the Affogato for dessert. The chef made the chocolate ice cream himself. My friend said the ice cream was divine and possibly the very best he has ever had. You also need to look around at the rest of the downstairs. The library is gorgeous, and the bar and patio are beautiful as well. If you are looking for a new dining experience or coming to Frankfort to visit, I highly recommend the Ashbrook Hotel. I have not seen the rooms, but if the food is an indication, the stay has to be lovely as well.

Visited Sunday May 25th for Brunch. From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to a great food experience. Our server Bern was amazing going over the excellent items offered during the brunch time as her attention given to our dining experience was awesome! Our food was simply 10/10 as we had the French toast with bananas, breakfast croissant, chicken salad croissant, and a handcrafted burger. Will be back again!!

The smell was horrible in the restaurant Valentines night. The smell was so terrible you could not hardly eat. The food was very average but not cheap. Third time there and won’t go back. Service was very slow, our server didn’t even tell us the specials. Server even added smell was terrible. Didn’t blame us for leaving quickly. Not a great experience at all.
