5 stars for sure! Stopped in here on the way thru. I would compare them to Canes but this place has way more options. The fried okra is amazing, as well as the fried pickles. I got the wrap with grilled chicken! My family all got the chicken tenders. It is definitely a lot of food! Worth the price. The place is really clean!

This is the second time we’ve had Slim Chickens. It didn’t disappoint. The chicken tenders came out quick and piping hot. Slim sauce is so good. Also got a brownie jar dessert in a souvenir glass jar. Only complaint was that it was hard to get to because of construction in the area.

First time eating at Slim Chickens and absolutely loved it. We ordered the 6 piece meal and the Tender Mac Bowl Meal and both tasted soooo good. We ended up answering a survey from the receipt and got a chocolate milkshake for free… delicious. I wish we had one of those in Indiana, I would be eating there often!

This was my first time trying Slim Chickens. I was impressed by some of the food options and cleanliness of the space.
However, I was not impressed by the long wait times for everyone’s food. It was not even busy but the lobby was crowded with people waiting 15+ minutes for their food. They also forgot several people sauce in the bag and customers repeatedly returned after walking out to their car to complain.
I’d give it another try but probably another location.

The chicken tenders are some of the best I’ve ever had. Plump and juicy! My only negative is that the restaurant is too cold. The fans and a/c were running and the temp outside was 49. Our fries were almost instantly cold. We asked that they be turned off but nothing changed. I will look forward to having the tenders again!

Don’t go anywhere near closing. Me and my son went 30 mins before closing. What we ended up with was one of two things. Either the chicken was cooked to a second death or they threw older cooked chicken in and double cooked it. The way it tasted with texture I’d go with the second one.
It was like eating chicken jerky. The chicken was still so hot even after letting it sit for 5-10 mins. Would have returned it but I don’t like being that guy. I just choose to not go back.
If anyone from Slims is reading this quit deep frying chicken a second time after it’s been sitting. This can’t possibly be policy and if it is shame on the management/owner because I know it’s a local thing. If it’s not policy and the management/owner is reading this have a talk to your employees.

PROS: Beautiful building, good atmosphere, clean establishment.
CONS: Can’t order chicken (breast, leg, thigh), only wings, tenders, wraps and sandwiches. I was hoping to compare it to KFC, Bogangles, Popeyes… but no mash potatoes, biscuit, etc.
While the menu isn’t for me, it maybe for others.
When I got up to leave… it saddened me that we passed on the Frisches next door.
My last time selecting Slims.

Only car in line and still waited forever to get out food. After recieving our food, part of the order was missing. Fries were missing out of the basket. Portions are smaller than other fast food restaurants, the tenders were tiny. Overall not worth it.

This was my first experience at Slim Chickens. The cashier was really nice and suggested the sandwich. Perfect choice! Great bun, great chicken, great sauce, and great pickles! I wish there was one closer to where I live in Illinois. I’d also like to say hey to Carlos, his wife, and Colt and Maverick. I hope they read this.

Good new chicken restaurant for London
I enjoyed my tenders, but if you are a big eater go for the 7 piece. 5 did not fill me up, but be prepared to pay $13.69. Wife got the chicken sandwich and it was the best thing on our table, her words: “it would contend with chick-fil-a”.
It’s great to see all the young employed people here, gives more opportunities for the local youth to earn some dough.
I’ve heard good things about the salads, I want to give the okra & Mac & cheese a try.
I would suggest to put some form of paper towel dispensers on the table, it would make using them slightly more convenient.
