Oh my goodness. The lady that took my order was so awfully rude, I just ordered two breakfast tacos and she kept interrupting me and gave me the most awful snake eyes as I placed my order. They have an ENTIRE salsa bar but will not set out cups to fill the salsas, causing you to have to ask. She only gives you two, when there are over 8 options of salsas. LEAVE THE CUPS OUT FOR CUSTOMERS. No complimentary napkins.
Worst of all, the tortillas on my tacos were BURNT BLACK and crumbled into pieces! Tasted like the inside of a fire pit. Totally inedible!! Worst tacos I’ve had in my life.

It’s a hidden gem, located at the Texaco gas station in Jonestown. It’s worth stopping by! I loved it and we’ll be back!!!

Got the tamales and they are awful.. They charge $2.50 a tamale but yet the tamale has 95 percent masa with no flavor. Come on now!!! I understand $2.50 if they are that size, full of meat, and moist masa but definitely not worth it at all. I don’t recommend anyone getting the tamales.

Just went for the first time last week. Had friends that went quite a while ago that didn’t recommend it, but decided to give it a try. Am Glad I did. They may have had a rocky start, but was pleasantly surprised by good and solid Tex Mex. The chips and salsa were quite nice, thin and light freshly fired tortilla chips, and a very flavorful salsa. Tried the basics with the Tres Amigo Plate, Crispy Taco, I Cheese and 1 Beef Enchilada, rice and beans. All delicious and what you would expect in a good TexMex establishment. Waitstaff very friendly, and could not be more attentive, and the owner(?) stopped by to see that we were happy. One of the naysayers was with us, and he commented that it was really good, and much better than his original encounter months ago. I know I’ll be back.

Food was fiar. Portion was pretty poor. Customer service was the worst possible. Cook/ cashier was rude and aggressive. Decided to order a different item and she still made the first. Imo employees like that shouldn’t be responsible for handling food.

Was excited to come here based on a recommendation but never again.
The server didn’t even want to bother with us and when I ordered she kept telling us everything was unavailable.
When our food was ready she didn’t even tell us it was ready and just left it on the counter without saying a word.

Server was unkind, rude, not friendly at all. Non communicative at all. No greeting. No smile. Just sharp tongued as to what was unavailable. Came here on a recommendation. Obviously not the same staff. Not driving from cedar park to come here again.

Do not expect to get food here if you’re white, this place is racist. Several Hispanic men ordered before and after me and the woman at the counter served them the same food I attempted to order.
