Would not recommend. We were seated at 3:25 pm and didn’t get our food until 4:11 pm. The waitress came to check on us a couple of times to apologize for the wait and let us know our food was being worked on, and explained that they were very busy. The restaurant was certainly pretty full, but most of the guests seemed to already have their food upon our arrival, and only two tables came in after us and waited just as long as we did.
After a ~50-minute wait, the food was warm, not hot, upon arrival. The BLT was okay but only had 2.5 pieces of bacon on it. The meat on the other sandwich was overcooked and dry but the other toppings were good. Their iced tea was very bitter.
It was ~$30 for two which I would consider average, but the long wait and subpar food left us feeling like we did not get adequate value for the money.
Beautiful building on the inside; it looks like it may have recently been decorated for a wedding and would be a great venue if you brought in a caterer.
A musician was getting set up around the time we were leaving. I gave it an extra star as it may be nice for those looking for dinner and a show/live music with nowhere else to be.

We were back again today 8-26-2022 and had another awesome lunch. We love coming here for entertainment and food and always have a good time. Thanks to all the staff and management for doing such a great job. We will always be back. Love this place!! I have had numerous items on the menu and loved all of them, from the Bison short ribs to the wedge salad. Brian and Lacy are wonderful people that keep the restaurant running smooth. This is a must see place along with the entire working ranch!

Senators Steak House is a table service western themed steak house restaurant with a full bar (Pepsi soft drinks). They feature several bison entrees. I enjoyed the bison short ribs, which came highly recommend. I noticed they have kids meal menus. The front entrance is a single door and level (+ curb)with the parking area, they do not have a door opener for those with limited mobility. We enjoyed live western music while we ate our meal (Saturday evening). Although the bison ribs and sauce were very tasty, I found the serving size to be slightly on the lower end for the price ($21.95). My baked potato wasn’t quite hot enough to melt butter. Such a great experience. Staff was amazing! I was born and raised in Wyoming, but stopped here while moving from Maryland to Utah after 20 years being out east. We wandered in at 4pm hoping I could show my friend Bison (he’d never been close to one) and even though they weren’t doing anymore train tours they did one just for us, also reopened the shop when we returned so we could shop.
Food was of course spectacular. Ribs are to die for… but most of all everyone was just so kind and accommodating. The world needs more of this!

My husband had never had bison before, so as we were driving across Wyoming, these guys came up as the #1 Bison burger in the state.
We were in a semi-truck and so we had to call to see if there was parking. Angel was incredibly helpful and figured out where we could park. Once we got there, she was also our waitress. Very friendly and attentive.
The food was amazing! While they no longer have a Bison Burger, we opted for the bison sliders. They are a great sized slider and tasted so good!
After eating, we were encouraged to walk around the property to see the various livestock they had; draft horses, quarter houses, goats, turkey, chicken, and an ostrich. We also saw some bison out in the pasture. If we had more time, we would have done the train ride they offer to go see the bison up close. Their ranch hands were very friendly and would make conversation with us and happily answer any questions. It’s clear people here love their jobs!
Will definitely stop here again any time we’re coming through!

We wanted a unique, Western restaurant for dinner and Senator’s Steak house at Terry Bison Ranch is it! Such a fascinating interior, it’s like walking into a Western historical museum with many old artifacts on the walls! The food was great, they of course specialize in Bison and beef. Chicken and fish are available too. I had the Bison Meatloaf which came with mashed potatoes, gravy, and vegetables, I highly recommend it! You should go hungry, serving portions are huge!

I stopped in at Senator’s on Oct 16th after the Loveland Airshow with a friend. I ordered the bison ribeye steak, cowboy beans, mac ‘n cheese and fried mushrooms and WOW! This meal knocked my socks off and left me stuffed! Everything was delicious, hot, tasty and prompt. The service was fantastic and I don’t think there’s anything I’d have Senator’s change. A++++ food, A++++ dining service and it had the feel of an old 1800’s restaurant/saloon. This is one customer that will be back for more!

Check out this historic gem of a steakhouse I stumbled across way out in Wyoming! I had the bison meatloaf which was decent, the gravy was delicious but the ends was a little burnt and tough, the mashed potatoes were good just a tad lumpy, the bread was absolutely amazing as were the baked beans. My next visit I had the short ribs and they were so delicious! Hannah at the hostess stand was very warm & welcoming, Shauna gave me pretty good service w/ a smile and my last visit, Lacey the manager & KaLynn behind the bar was the cutest and had outstanding service w/ a smile! I’ll definitely stop in again next time I visit out west & the live music on Sunday was nice too!
