Our first visit. 5pm Tuesday, booth in the bar area. Started off great. Pork rinds were fantastic! The bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers could be a meal! Huge and savory. Food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Half a chicken cooked perfectly, juicy too. Mild smoke flavor, a little bland on seasoning. I found it satisfying even though I’m not a big smoked meats fan. Green beans were good. Needed a little salt. Cornbread was like eating a cupcake! Deliciously moist and a sweet.
Service was good until it was time to cash out and we ordered dessert and rinds to go. After 15 minutes the “manager” came to cash us out since our waitress had not returned. I asked if our dessert and rinds were on our bill. They had been added but we had not received them. The manager said she would check on the to go order. She never returned. After 10 minutes our waitress said they’d be right out. We waited another 10 minutes before we finally got our dessert and rinds. So 35 minutes to get dessert and rinds to go.
For an adult night out we found having kids running to the restroom and standing at the bar a bit unusual but we’re old so…
Overall, we’ll be back for the food and to check out the mechanics the next time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a great experience at Stoaked Bar and Mechanical! The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the pulled pork ribs with mac n cheese, sweet potato fries, and collard greens — everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly.

For appetizers we had the fried pickles, jalapeño poppers, and cheese curds, and every single one was delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of them! The Bloody Marys were also incredible — definitely some of the best we’ve had.

The only small complaint was that we had to wait about an hour for our food, but they were very busy, which honestly says a lot about how popular the place is. It was worth the wait!

We’ll definitely be back!

I would probably give this place a 4.8 (not quite a 5, but way better than a 4. The pulled chicken I got was pretty good. The sauce they used wasn’t quite my favorite. Might have been the OG sauce?
The green beans I got were amazing. I could have eaten a bunch of those.
I’d like to come back and try other things next time. I would highly recommend coming here. I’m from out of town so it will be a bit before I get back, but I’ll make it eventually!

This newly opened restaurant is legit.
We visited for the first time on a weekday evening just about 3 weeks into their opening.
We were promptly greeted, seated, and had our waiter, Ethan, take care of us.
Appetizers, great smoked meats, and entertainment-all in one spot!

Stoked is a win!
ATMOSPHERE: This place is outstanding! It’s extremely clean and has a welcoming, modern decor. The entrance light of duckpin bowling pins is fun. Our booth was comfortable and we felt that everything was laid out nicely. Although there is duckpin bowling going on (4 lanes), pinball and video game machines, music, and a fully packed house, my husband and I didn’t have any problems carrying on a normal conversation and we could hear the server perfectly. It’s a very fun and friendly atmosphere.

BEER: There are 19 draft beers and 1 draft root beer. The selection is impressive. Try the Traum (local). I appreciate that they come right out with fresh water right away.

SERVICE: Our server was attentive and friendly. She made good recommendations. We didn’t want for anything and she did an excellent job.

FOOD: First things first: IT’S REAL SMOKE! So many BBQ places use liquid smoke or smoke flavoring, which I can’t stand. Stoked does not – it’s real. You can see the smoke ring right there on the meat which is always a good sign. We ordered A LOT of food because we are smoked meat junkies. First off, they brought us some pork rinds for the table upon sitting down. I usually don’t like pork rinds and wouldn’t order them on my own, but these were honestly really good. They were very crunchy and weren’t greasy at all. We ordered the burnt end appetizer. Burnt ends are my “meat candy” and good burnt ends are so hard to find. Imagine my excitement to discover the best burnt ends I’ve ever had here close to home. They weren’t dry at all. The sauce was nicely done and the seasoning was perfect. My husband and I split the 4 meat platter. We had ribs, smoked bratwurst, pulled chicken, and pulled pork. The pulled pork has a bit of a sweet flavor to it and will be perfect in the summertime. The pulled chicken was also extremely good – not dry whatsoever. You can’t go wrong with a good Saum’s brat, and smoking it just made a good thing better. To me, the stand out were the ribs. I’m very picky about my ribs and I do not like Texas style swimming in sauce. I want to taste the meat with a good rub. These were prepared just exactly how a good rib should be prepared. There are sauces on the table, but I don’t think you’ll need them, the quality and taste of the meat speaks for itself. Our sides, green beans, collards, and street corn, were all very good. There are a lot of sides and we’ll be back to taste more.

PRICE: Extremely reasonable for the amount and quality we were served.

Overall, Stoked is a fantastic addition to a growing downtown. We will frequent this place for not just the fun atmosphere, but the delicious food. I highly recommend you come and check it out.

WOW! I’m absolutely speechless! The staff was incredible, especially for being the first Saturday night on opening week. We were seated immediately despite being PACKED! There is PLENTY of seating! And we had lots of fun playing the old school arcade games! But people, let talk about that BARBECUE! OH MY GOD!!! Now, I’m a barbequer myself, slow smoking meat is my favorite pastime… and REAL hardwood burning, babysitting a fire all day smoking! Not that pellet stuff… the REAL stuff! Now, when I go out for barbecue, I already have the understanding that a restaurant isn’t going to be as good as what I can make at home and critique accordingly. People, not only was that the best restaurant barbecue I’ve ever had, but I don’t think I could’ve done it better myself! And I’m very proud of my work. I don’t think I’ve made a brisket as good as what I ate tonight! I couldn’t shut up about it to my wife! Great bark, great smoke ring, moist throughout… this place is the REAL DEAL! We walk through downtown daily and I’ve smelled it smoking in the mornings every day and have been “stoked” (lol) to try it! I’m so glad I did! Priced very well for what you get! Also got brisket baked beans which weren’t advertised as smoked but could taste it immediately with the first bite! Incredibly impressed! I could talk about it all day! So excited to have a place like this in out town! Yes, for the fun and the atmosphere, but mostly for the best barbecue you’ll eat ANYWHERE, not just locally!

As any new business should be stocked this was a not very good experience. They were out of a lot the night my wife and I went, but that wasn’t the reason for this review. This establishment is a 2 story area with tables both upstairs and down. We got there around 5:40pm on a Saturday night, going well order drinks and appetizers both good, as we placed our order disappointed in the items they were out of as we wanted to try them since they were raved through our town. We placed our order and waited 10 minutes went by that was fine 20 minutes that was ok too. We watched the empty upstairs area fill up as we were sitting at the table in the corner, 30minutes and still no food, we watched as people who just walked in maybe sat for 10 minutes was ordering and received the food they ordered, as we still sat and waited for our food, we asked our waitress and she had no idea. When she came back she told us the kitchen had put others orders before our and we still had multiple orders ahead of us before they started on ours, we were patient and waiting enjoying our night. We finally got our food a hour after ordering and our food was disappointing not just the wait but the food. The waffle fries tasted like sweet almost coated in sugar. The ribs were tough and fatty hardly any meat. The food was colder like it sat for a while. We paid over. $70 for the 2 of us to just have a disappointing night all around.

Slow service, even with drinks. Brisket was dry. Mac n cheese had some weird spice that made it tinted red. Cole slaw had no flavor. Bacon wrapped poppers had raw bacon on the inside. They were out of ribs and collard greens. No horseradish sauce for the brisket. Corn bread muffin was good but came with some flavored liquid spread. Bowling was fun. Pinball machines fun. We specifically told the waitress how we wanted the checks before we ordered. She put it all together and made us tell her what we ordered to separate the bill. Coming out of the women’s bathroom, there are a bunch of blinding headlights pointing straight at you in the hallway.
