We were driving through Tacoma and stopped here partly because of the good reviews, partly because of the easy off, easy on of the highway. Food was excellent, staff were friendly. Fresh cut flowers. We would visit here again.

I went here based off of other good reviews and ordered the Penang curry with extra chicken. Once I plated my food at home, I realized there was hardly anything in the curry (3 small slivers of chicken and hardly any vegetables). I paid $30 for broth and rice very disappointed. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the service was good, and the broth was tasty. However overall quality was very poor.

My friend and I had dinner here on 10/11 before a show at TMP. The service was beyond slow as if short handed and took a long time to order & get our food in a Friday night before 6pm. We shared the Panang Curry. The taste was amazing but not enough substance – little meat & veggies. We had to buy the rice separately which we think should be included like most places. We enjoyed the mango sticky rice, best dessert ever. We drank water, shared the one meal & dessert. Our total was $48 which seems pricey to us. Can’t imagine if we’d had two separate dishes. Hoping this honest review will help them improve since we think the food is delicious and would like to return but definitely needs some changes.

We visited spontaneously on a Saturday in April, with a windy/sunny day bringing a lot of folks to Fuzion Cafe. But the staff were ready for the crowd and the drinks & food arrived in great time.

The Fuzion Cafe’s menu has about 60 items, with a good variety of vegetarian and gluten free options, noted in the menu.

We enjoyed non alcoholic cranberry lemonades beautifully presented. Fuzion Cafe offers liquor and alcohol, including mixed drinks.

The Coconut Prawns appetizer was perfectly tender, delicate coconut flavor very evident; a great crunchy creamy texture, and the tangy sauce balances the whole thing. A little shaved carrot & cabbage garnish, too. 6 prawns on skewers were enough for shared appetizer for the 2 of us.

We weren’t sharing main dishes this meal. J had Cauliflower Fried Rice with Tofu. Other vegetables round out the flavor: cucumbers carrots, button mushrooms, broccoli, cabbage, & onions. Pleasant cauliflower flavor, wonderful fluffy texture. It was light but filling and we could’ve made two meals out of it.

I had Thai Beef Salad. There were bell peppers, cucumbers, red onions, cilantro, tomato, and thin seasoned beef strip tidbits, all on a bed of cheerful leaf lettuce. The bowl of vegetables knew it was delicious & gorgeous, as well. Dig into all of it and make sure to get more of the dressing from the bottom of the dish! Light and zesty, with a mix of satisfying textures. I was full, but couldn’t resist coming back to the dish 2 and 3 more times, as we had a lovely conversation. It might make two portions, or just linger over the meal at The Fuzion Cafe.

Fuzion Cafe has wheelchair accessible entrance & parking, and accommodations to seat large and small parties, and other unique table options. There is a large parking lot, which may be close to full during busy times.

Our small group shared an early evening dinner. Everyone was pleased with their meals. No rush, service was way above norms.

The service is great, very friendly, no wait on a Thursday dinner time and the food was pretty good! The drunken noodles fulfilled my Thai noodle craving but my fave was the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with the yellow curry and peanut sauce. Soo yummm! It had the right flavor of lemongrass in it and it pairs perfectly with the yellow curry and peanut sauce with yellow rice. 5 stars for this dish alone! And for dessert the mango sticky rice which had the perfect amount of sweetness in the rice. The mango wasn’t as sweet but it is winter after all where mangos are not in season but it was still delicious. Will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Quite the unique ambiance, with a “fusion” menu of Thai and Vietnamese cuisines. It’s my first visit and the Spicy Noodle Soup was a winner. A fusion of rice noodles (Vietnamese) and Tom Yum soup (Thai)

Fast and friendly service. Good for small groups. Casual and intimate setting. Moderately priced. Free parking in private lot.

Did not know what to expect and was surprised with solid Thai cuisine. Staff was very friendly, courteous and welcoming. Decorations are expectedly, Thai themed so there is no doubt where you are.

The menu has many selections to choose from all of which you can select your protein of choice ( beef, pork, tofu, chicken, shrimp). Oddly, rice is not included and is an extra option ($$). Most meals average between $17.00-$23.00.

Great overall experience and it’s definitely go back!
