Our party of seven made a same-day reservation and were accepted. We arrived an hour late with an extra guest, and the staff were incredibly kind and still accommodated us. The food was delivered quickly, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Our drinks also arrived promptly and were very enjoyable. The restaurant was beautiful and had a great atmosphere. There was no music playing, and we saw a very large group (more than 15 people) being accommodated.

Although the ambiance was inviting, I ordered take away. I am very disappointed at the quality of the food and portion size of the meat. I ordered the stir fried vegetable noodles with beef add on (beef lo mein) and crispy skin pork. It’s fair to say the noodles were good and very generous in portion size. The pork on the other hand was a total disappointment. It was very salty and really no flavor profile except the onions placed as a filler. The portion was very small, although it didn’t matter because I couldn’t finish because of the saltiness. There was nothing crispy about the pork either. A total waste of money over $50 USD. If i wanted mediocre food I would’ve gone to the local Chinese restaurant and probably gotten a better bite for way less.

Excellent place to celebrate and just enjoy a good meal. I had pepper fish and some hotwings. My colleague had shrimp wantons and lamb chops. We had apple-tinis and mango-tinis. The waitress had a bit of an attitude, but that didn’t spoil the evening. The place is situated where you can look out at the waterfront or just people watch.

Dined in with 10 persons at Fusion, Pegasus restaurant on September 21, 2025 at 1:40pm. The environment was clean. We were a group of 5 adults, 1 teenager and 4 toddlers. We were there to celebrate my sister-in-law birthday. Upon entering, there was no one to greet us and guide us to our table. We received service as in to take our order until 45-60 minutes after sitting. It seemed very obvious that the establishment was under staff as a gentleman with a lanyard of keys around his neck who seemed like a supervisor was also taking orders and serving tables. Upon finally placing our orders, as if that wait wasn’t long enough. We waited for a second time over 60-90 minutes for our order to arrive. Long after the food arrived, it was all cold. We were told by our server that only one bartender was on shift reason for 2 of our drinks being delayed. Now imagine, your food served is already cold. Of everything ordered, the shrimp pasta portion size as meal was undeniably overselling. A toddler would not have been satiafied after eating same. Moving on, the drinks were served for my husband and I until after we finished eating our meals. The disappointment continues. Minor things as providing paper napkins on our table, condiments as well were not served. Meals were finished, empty plates still occupied the table, our server never came to remove any. My husband asked for the bill, shockingly the establishment has the audacity to implement a 10% service charge. We questioned what service are we paying for, because everything even water we requested for the children came long after (30 minutes). Patrons should not be expected to pay 10% service charge for such poor service. I hope the management team for the Fusion Restaurant, Pegasus, uses this review constructively to improve on the service offered by the establishment.

Atmosphere: The vibe is great. It’s much more sophisticated than the common restaurants in Guyana. Gorgeous decor and is very well-kept.

Staff and Service: I’ve read a few reviews on OpenTable that I feel support the way I’ve experienced these two things. The staff that served me was so inexperienced. My food and drink orders both came back wrong. However, there was no time to send them back for correction because the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM and it takes so long to even get a beer poured in a glass served to you much less having your correct martini fixed and returned. The time it takes for your food to arrive is just appalling.
If you don’t ask for napkins, ketchup, or pepper, you don’t get it. The bare minimum of serving your customers water regardless of what is ordered is nonexistent.

Food and Menu: The menu is decked with fancy and deliciously sounding foods but do try ordering something that is beyond your regular fried rice and noodles. It’s not available. The same goes for the drinks menu. Half of the items on it, they don’t have. You’d think the fancy place would be your one getaway for something different and exquisite but think twice. My opinion? The menu is too elaborate for what is available. It is too big, untidy-looking (like its from a regular chinese restaurant), and no use claiming to serve all those dishes. The owner should have the executive chef tailor a menu that he/she and the team are capable of delivering.
Not forgetting, the taste of the food? Oh boy! These chefs need to use seasonings. Bourda market has lots. They can do way better at the flavour. For the pastas, for God’s sake, we’re not trying to die of clogged arteries and heart problems, simmer down on the cheese. Heavy cheese mixed up and more cheese on top? Can’t even eat it much less try to enjoy it.

I hope the management can make the much needed changes to:
– training staff (no shame in having a pad and pen)
– food flavours
– menu
– food/beverage availability
– much needed amenities on the table for eating

I planned a surprise congratulations dinner with friends.

Reservation process was smooth. Service was great except for the few times we had to look for our waiter.
The food was wonderful. No one complained.
The atmosphere was open and not too loud. It was enough to have good conversations. The only negatives in the atmosphere would be some tables are a little too close and the background music did little to enhance the mood.

Best Jalapeño Margarita!
We ate dinner and lunch here in two separate occasions.
The service was awesome and the food was different on both occasions. They had a wide variety of Guyanese and Continental cuisines.
We enjoyed vegetarian fried wantons; a delicious chicken chowmein, French fries, plantain fries, veggie fried rice with hot wings. Lots of food for the kids to eat.

The view and the location for our gatherings were perfect and central.
I will add more photos.
We stayed upstairs at the New Pegasus and Conference area, so it was an added convenience.

Myself and a group from our Guyana Cancer Foundation Survivor’s Club went to dinner at Fusion Restaurant. The service and food was excellent but getting to the restroom is a problem . You have to go back to front entrance to use the washroom facilities which is very far from the restaurant. I think the washrooms should be more accessible
