This was my first time here and I will definitely be back to experience some of the specials. Had the famous pork tenderloin sandwich which was pretty good. Service and food were prompt. It is a cash only establishment and the ATM on site was out of order but they do accept checks.

In pursuit of Iowa’s best tenderloin, Tojo’s came highly recommended. We were very pleased with their tenderloin! Tasted great. They are very large (my wife and I shared one). Would recommend lettuce and tomato. The French fries were delicious and crunchy. The sodas were a bit flat though.
Overall, service was just ok. Took a while to get our check, and to our surprise, they only take cash or check. Had to use their ATM. Woman that took our order wasn’t in the best mood, but the man was nice.

Ok, the food was ok.. yes, they are somewhat famous for their tenderloin… but that’s pretty much it. You walk in the place, smell like burnt grease. The floor is held together with duct tape, the bathroom was dirty… so the bathroom is dirty, I can imagine how the kitchen looks. Hard pass on this place.

Awesome big tenderloin or Midwest crab legs (tenderloin fritters) 11-12 bucks. Great portion. We split plate. friendly staff. quick service. I assume tenderloin served regularly. We stopped on group bicycle ride Baccoon Ride. Off the trail next to small park. Great for eating outside with walk up window in the park
