Love this place for years, my favorite dishes Of course have to be “bánh ướt đặc biệt”. But today I tried “canh bún” and have to say this was the best in town. Highly recommend.

This place is kind of hidden, to be honest I just ordered something random from the menu and cleaned the plate. Everything was tasty and good quality, service was on point and friendly. Will be putting this place into my lunch rotation and try more dishes.

Quick, friendly, and efficient service — we got our food within ten minutes of ordering. I know for certain I can always rely on the bun cha ha noi from here, which came with grilled pork and sausage in a light fish sauce dressing. Pairing it with fresh herbs and vermicelli noodles and you’re in for a super delicious meal that’s also equally nutritious.

Banh Cuon Hoa is exactly what it needs to be—a no-frills spot serving legit, authentic banh cuon. The rice rolls were fresh, delicate, and had that soft-chewy texture you want. The filling was flavorful, and everything came out hot and fast.
Service? Eh—pretty whatever. Not rude, just not warm. But you’re not coming here for hospitality—you’re coming for solid Vietnamese comfort food, and they absolutely deliver on that.
If you’re craving traditional banh cuon without the fancy setting or fluff, this is the place. Keep it simple, and you’ll leave satisfied.

I’ve noted the frequency of the low ratings/reviews for this place. This was my first time dining in here (Nov. 2022) with a party of 8 people and we had a good experience. The service and timing was just fine, our server was very friendly although she did not speak much English. Most of our table ordered either the banh cuon dac biet or the banh uot dac biet and it was so delicious, for a great price. The steamed rice rolls were thin, everything was fresh, and the portions were plenty.
If you’re in the northern area of Houston, I’d definitely recommend this place for your Viet fix!

I saw a cockroach on my soup. Told the worker and they just said sorry. Will not come back.

A nice and clean spot for Banh Cuon up north. The restaurant also has many other Vietnamese dishes but since their name literally has Banh Cuon in it, I had to get their specialty. Their Banh Cuon Dac Biet had a very good mix of toppings. I loved the fried shrimp fries. Not sure if that’s the right word to call it. Haha.

Do not recommend. For a place that’s named after the dish they barely put any meat in it. This is their bang cuon thit nuong with only bits of the meat.
