Came here with a friend for lunch on a Friday and had a nice experience. We were seated immediately, and the host/server was very welcoming and attentive.

The food came out quickly. I ordered the chicken pho, which was flavorful but a bit sweeter than I prefer. Not a dealbreaker. The toppings were good, the chicken was moist, and everything tasted fresh. Portions were slightly smaller than other pho spots I’ve tried, but the prices were very reasonable.

The space was cozy and fit the pho vibe well. I’d come back again, though I’d probably try something different next time, my friend got the spring rolls and really enjoyed them.

As a Vietnamese, I do NOT recommend the cà phê sữa đá, it tastes strange and it is not near “cà phê sữa đá” at all. However, the bánh mì and phở bò were GOOD for me, although the portions ( Phở ) were quite small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants but the broth really saving it.

Wanted to like this place.

Will say the fries were good

In terms of the pho, I ordered the tofu version
And asked for it spicy. It is incredibly sweet. additionally there were exactly 4 triangles of tofu in it which is literally like 1/8th of a block of tofu- probably one of the most inexpensive proteins on the market. I have had better pho from a hospital cafeteria than here. Maybe the banh mi’s are better?

I had high hopes for a cafe style restaurant owned by HaiSous. This place still surpassed my expectations. The Vietnamese slow drip tasted like really good strong cold brew. The chicken curry meal was delicious, and it was the perfect lunch sized portion for me

Preface: My wife and I used to come here 5 years ago. Its a bit different now since it was temporarilly closed during covid until very recently (just opened again a month or 2 ago)
The menu on google isn’t entirely accurate; it lists some stuff from the previous menu that is not yet available.

The Pho 6/5 : best Pho I’ve had, and I’ve been to a plethora of pho places. Portion is larger than it looks

The egg custard coffee 4/5 : its different than it was years ago. This egg custard is very light and fluffy, more like an egg foam. The original vanilla egg custard with coffee was 6/5 i.m.h.o

The chicken sandwich 4/5 : the first bite is 5/5 but since the flavor is strong, it becomes overpowering after eating the whole thing

Lychee Danish 5/5 would recommend

Vibes : 5/5

Price-Quality Ratio 5/5

I’ve heard more things from the old menu will be coming back; fingers crossed the previous style “vanilla egg custard & coffee”

Sooo I should have remembered to take photos because the presentation was lovely but DAMN was this good. Mark had the lemongrass pork banh mi and I did the lemon pepper wings. They were both amazing. So good I got a sandwich to go for tonight AND the lychee danish. Also forgot to take a picture.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now, and I finally did today. I really liked their egg custard coffee, and it was awesome that they can make it decaffeinated for me. I also tried their works sandwich, chicken skin, and chicken and rice dish. Everything was on the salty side. The chicken skin was interesting, but extremely salty. The chicken and rice was tasty, but too salty as well. The works sandwich was a real disappointment. It consisted of roast pork, beef, and chicken. The bread was soggy, and all the meat was bland. The only thing I could taste was the very mild mayo. Overall, it was just okay. I think I will come back for the custard coffee for sure. Service was friendly too.

Coffee with vanilla egg custard is a must-try at this store! It’s amazingly good! The bitterness of the coffee balances well with the sweetness of the creamy egg custard.

I was really excited to see this restaurant is finally open! It wasn’t clear up until then if it was a restaurant that recently closed or was in the process of being built and I’m so glad it was the latter. We got the Lemon Pepper & the Fish Sauce wings and they really are DANG good. And the Ca Phe Trung (Custard Vietnamese Coffee) was sooo delicious too.
