I ordered the 1 lb. Family Pack with the hot sauce and chose the pint of Slaw as my side.. it wasn’t very busy as there was only one car at the drive up window.. so I just parked and went to the front window and he took my order in just a few minutes.. I think it was only about 5 minutes or so to get my order.. there’s no indoor seating here only a couple of picnic tables outside of the building but I always take it home and everything was cooked properly and delicious.. really good BBQ here..

BEST baked beans I’ve ever had! We ordered a large and small BBQ sandwich with sides of beans. The small sandwich is full size and stuffed with pulled pork with the perfect amount of sauce. ALWAYS trust ‘side of the road’ BBQ. As soon as she opened the window we could smell how good it was going to be. We should’ve bought a sauce to go.

Best BBQ in Scottsboro.
Got to edit this. I’m sorry to say that after being a customer for years (I’m 60 and I was a child when Dad first carried me) I got the worst meal that I ever bought there. Worst of all I waited a half hour for a sandwich and fries.Took them home and we’re awful! The bun was burned and the meat tasted terrible and, no pickles. And the fries tasted like the grease was a month old! Sadly, my last time ever to go there.

We decided to try Tate’s BBQ today 6/22. So glad that we did, the best bbq that will literally melt in your mouth. Such great flavor. We got the #1 family pack it came with meat chips buns side item (we got potato salad)and sauce. Also tried the slaw and beans. It was all fresh and so good. Also tried the fried peach pies and wow takes you back to your grannies kitchen.
