Although it’s not offered all the time, it’s very rare to see a South Philly pizzazz pizza this far out in the suburbs. Even rarer to see it done correctly! Other menu options are good too, like the tavern pizza, the brooklyn square pie, and the new haven tomato. But again, they rotate on and off the menu.

Also, I love the t-shirts they sell. I bought one. Just a really nice illustration with tons of style.

Our first time in tonight and we ordered a half pepperoni half mushroom pizza with an order of fries as well. Everything came out as ordered in a timely fashion, looked and smelled amazing and tasted the way it looked. The restaurant is clean and the dining area is very inviting. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. We definitely will recommend this establishment to anyone for dining in or taking out. Keep up the good work folks!!

I recently moved in just up the street and I have already been to Giovanni’s numerous times. The food is incredible. From Cheese steaks to full dinners, everything has been delicious. During my first week of moving, I ordered takeout of several different dinners, from Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Marsala, and I enjoyed each one. The portions are large and each dinner also comes with garlic bread, and a salad. Every dinner was big enough that I had two nights of food, which was great. I have dined in twice and the service has been great as well.
My only suggestion would be to remodel the dining area and bathroom. They weren’t very welcoming and the bathroom was small and had no heat.

The #1 restaurant for my husband and I . The best food by far . Quality , taste and portions can’t be matched. Everything from Pizza (and there are many to choose from–try them all ..you won’t be disappointed ) to the pasta dishes , sandwiches, soups, burgers, cheesesteaks, and salads . Homemade chocolate chip cookies or any of the deserts are great when you are looking for something sweet. Its all fantastic! A local family restaurant that makes you feel like family whether you are ordering take out or dining in. The staff is wonderful and every experience we have ever had has exceeded our expectations. Thank you John, Vito and the entire staff at Giovanni’s and Sons for all you do to make your restaurant the best!! We appreciate you all !

The website ordering freezes up so we couldnt scroll to look at the menu. My husband called to ask the price for a buffalo chicken pizza because the menu wasnt accessible. It was muffled sounding and we thought they said $19. Arrive to pick up and its close to $30 ($27.29) for a large pizza once you factor in taxes and fees for a to-go pizza that we picked up. Not even table service or delivery fees. Litterally just the 1 pizza. Wild.
a broken website and then also poor phone access.
The pizza didnt even have blue cheese on it (edit restaurant says it , did, but it definitely wasnt a flavorful kind that has the tangy taste to contrast the hot sauce) which is kind of an essential ingredient to make it a buffalo chicken pizza so it wasn’t really great, it wasnt terrible. For close to the price of $30 pizza, I had high expectations, which this didnt meet. Id say it was mall food court range what I had yesterday. I would have been able to make a better choice of pizza if I could have looked at the menu.

I used to order here all the time for 5+ years and it was really good, the best in all of collegeville/royersford/trappe area, hands down.
My daughter had to go gluten free for allergies so me and my husband treat ourselves to regular pizza when we have dates so its been about a year and a half since we ordered last and the food quality is not the same which is a bummer. (Edit: restaurant says they have the same quality ingredients, so then I guess maybe theyre hiring different staff people who dont know how to cook? I cant really say for sure whats different now)

Food is really good and the staff is friendly.
Prices were decent.
The tavern pizza is really good, you should try it. Garlic Knots w extra garlic SMACK.
I get that whenever I’m in the area.
Parking lot is kinda small, but you can find parking on the street.
I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, so I can’t speak on that, but there’s seating available.
It’s always pretty busy when I stop in, but if you call ahead you can just pick up your food and leave. Works great.

I went in for Lunch and got a personal Margherita pizza which was really good. The sauce was more of a tomato pie sauce but it worked I couldn’t complain too much about the pizza. I also got a cheesesteak with fried onions and it let me down heavy. Got told that’s the place for steaks in royersford and it was soft bread that had a cheese sauce that seeped into it making it extremely soft and nasty at the bottom. The meat had no flavor and was dry. The fried onions on it were good atleast. For both not being expensive it’s definitely worth trying but pizza is the way to go here.
