Our family was on the way back from our vacation and we wanted to get some food. The first place we tried was not available, so we found ourselves choosing this Mexican restaurant. As we have a nice place near home, we were skepticalat the quality and flavors as we compare our experience to our local place. However, we found that the flavor profiles between the two were astonishingly different. I had a tamale which was suggested after i had asked if they offered yucca, which they did not. The tamale was so good, I wished I had ordered more of them. My kids all loved their food too. They have a massive burrito which includes scallops, which we found a pleas surprise. We enjoyed their unique flavor profiles and have rated this place in our top favorite places to eat. I cant wait to go back.and try some other of their dishes. Thank you for a unique experience and flavor profile journey in different Sout hAmerican cuisine. I appreciated that we were able to see the chefs cooking our food from our table, and the atmosphere was spectacular. The chops and salsa hit the spot too!

Driving back home from vacation we stopped at this place for dinner which was one minute away from our hotel. I was so hopeful because of the 4.8 rating, boy was I disappointed. We ordered enchiladas, that were a soggy mess and had no flavor. Didn’t understand how the chicken had no flavor. I also ordered grilled steak quesadillas, which I ended up with chicken somehow, so that was disappointing. And, all of our food was ice cold. And I’m not exaggerating….it was ice cold. Not even sure how that is possible since we left there with our food and drove straight to our hotel down the block, one minute away. The only good thing was the wings. They were warm and crunchy. The rest was a complete mess. $47 down the toilet. What a shame. Their high rating is false.

Staying at Fairfield in half a mile from Los Compadres we had dinner here. It had good traditional Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. Service was quick. It was a weekday in early April and it was close to full. It’s a place you eat and leave so tables open up quickly. They seem to do a good takeout business. An option would be to pick up food and bring it back to the hotel to eat.
The menu is large with every combination of tacos, burritos, enchilada, tostada and Fajitas, plus much more. There is a kids menu (10 and under) with six options that include a soft drink for $7.75
I had a vegetarian combination dinner with a Spinach burrito, cheese enchilada and a cheese tostada ($11.95). My wife had the Make Your Own Combination with a Spinach and cheese enchilada and a grilled chicken taco with rice and beans ($11.00).
We will eat here again on our next trip to Stony Creek.

It was a great surprise having a late lunch at this place! We were surprised that the inside was ornately decorated; you would not know it by looking outside! We were also very surprised that the food took us to Mexico, it was amazing!
The staff was very attentive to the diners as well as pick up service.
Just overwhelmed with joy that the food was awesome and the entire experience was unexpected! We will return for sure!

Awesome spot we were driving thru town and happened to stop by for lunch and the restaurant was nice, clean and had great food with excellent staff . I’m not sure about vegan options but my family prefers vegetarian food and there were plenty of options for them. I wish i had taken some pics of the food but we were so hungry that i only remembered it after we finished up everything. It is right next to i-95 so it’s easy to get in and out for those traveling thru

10/10 recommend! The building is very clean, the people are very welcoming and attentive, and the food is amazing! Chips and salsa were fresh, the cheese dip was hot, and the food was full of flavor! Also, they have an affordable kid friendly menu option for the little ones!

I’ll miss this restaurant! I knew I was going to enjoy it when I smelled the food from the parking lot. Food was amazing and everything tasted fresh!! My frozen margarita was blended so well! I had the churros and tres leche cake as well. Very decent prices and customer service was amazing!! Definitely recommend and if I’m back in the area, I’ll for sure be returning!

This was a perfect little spot to stop for good food and good service. I highly recommend to check it out. They have a kid menu, vegetarian options and plenty of food and drink specials. I doubt you will be disappointed. Will be stopping by again when driving back and forth between Virginia and North Carolina.
