Stopped by on our way back home from a funeral. Buffet Only for some reason. They had shrimp, steak, fish, pastas and some other items on the buffet. Almost $18 per person PLUS almost $4 each per drink. I’m not opposed to the price BUT the food quality…. (Quality?!?!) SO not good. Temps were all over the place, salad was wilted on the bar, steak way over cooked, cooked veggies were lifeless and waterlogged. Extreme disappointment. My husband and I looked at each other and said NEVER AGAIN and he added, ‘not even if the buffet was free’. The only decent thing was our waitress who was very sweet to us and everyone else as far as I could see from the tables around us. The photo was supposed to be a crab cake I think??? Not sure because it tasted awful so one bite in and NOPE.

Our waitress Ashley was amazing! Restaurant is clean and comforting atmosphere. We went on Surf and Turf night. I’m not a seafood fan so cannot comment on that. But the salad items were very fresh. The meats were delicious. It’s a small buffet. And the dessert bar was limited to just a couple kinds of cake. But u can order specialty desserts from the menu.

Glad we still have a shoneys. The food was good but not “hot.” I would be concerned that the buffet didn’t meet temperature criteria. Otherwise it was good. Service was great.

I’ve dined at this Shoney’s a few times in my travels. It is always a solid choice for a good, filling meal.
It’s always clean, as bd the atmosphere is always relaxed. They have a nice parking lot, with ample parking. The dining area has good seating selection of booths or tables. The staff is very friendly & personable. I always get the buffet. The food is always hot and fresh, the buffet area is always maintained and clutter free. I love the buffet for all the amazing comfort food selections. I promise you, if you dine here, you won’t be disappointed.

Ate there on Saturday September 27,2025. It was around 6:00pm. The place was fairly busy and we were seated promptly. There was absolutely no complaints with service. Waitress Amber did an exemplary job. The food had good flavor however I had the same complaint that seems to be the theme here and that is temperature. I brought that to the attention of staff and it was quickly acted upon, I know because I was seated directly adjacent to the buffet station. Temp was immediately taken and the plastic tent type covers were put on the ribs and chicken . Larger pieces need that treatment as the outside air has more area to circulate cooling the food faster. Girlfriend stated vegetables didn’t have much flavor and judging by the color were overcooked. Overall it was good and will return when I area. Maybe shouldn’t call it a seafood buffet since it was about 50/50 with regular food. Again mega praise for Amber

We have tried to eat there once a month. However $75 plus tip for 3 is alot . The food is terrible. Some are not even up to temp. It’s defently not worth the price. Every time we go the food taste different. Not consistent with taste. Very rarely does something stand out that’s good. We use to go last year almost every Friday. It to was hit or miss .

Absolutely no issues of any kind! The food was great. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress, Sandy, was very friendly and attentive.
Overall a wonderful dining experience. Definitely recommend!

Our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. How do they memorize all of those food options? Secret Superpower?
Buffet offered multiple selections for those who love “home-cooked” meals.
The omelette was massive and possibly had too much sausage. Is that even possible? I’m not sure.
Country potatoes were perfectly crispy.
The bathrooms did need a visit from the cleaning fairies ♂️ ♀️

We were a party of 3 arriving just after the breakfast portion merging into the lunch buffet time. Therefore, the buffet consisted of both breakfast and lunch selections. The selections were vast and the food was very good. I was thrilled to be able to get collard greens and grits as well as some typical breakfast items with my lunch!

i stopped there for the late lunch on the way back to PA. i had the buffet. there were lots of options and the price is reasonable. i don’t know why they put the hotdogs in the baked beans. i’d enjoy just the plain hot dog cuz i don’t like baked beans in general. burgers, baked fish and fried chicken were good. i loved the dessert bar and ice cream the most.
