I am a huge fan of Rise Up! Fantastic coffee and food and a great atmosphere in each of the shops! Things to know…yes there can be long waits for your food or coffee during busy hours but they are busy for a reason, it’s that good! If you want to avoid the wait then order online, give it 20 min and pick up in the store.
Seating in most of the locations is definitely limited…it’s not really the same vibe as a Starbucks where you go and sit for hours working on a project or reading a book. It’s a quick pop in for great coffee and see some neighbors while you’re in their sorta place.
Overall – if your not in a rush and your not looking to sit around for a few hours, Rise Up is one of the best places to grab coffee in Maryland. And it’s a small locally owned (MD) business! Support local!

I’m newer to the Arnold area, and thought I’d give this Rise Up a try! Friendly baristas and speedy service. Happy to have a Rise Up close to me again, will definitely be back. Pro tip: try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch in anything drink…it’ll change your life.

We love this coffee shop. The coffee is always delicious and unique. Their craft coffee drinks are also well made! The customer service is wonderful. The BURRITOS are sooooo good… especially the “Rise Up”. Probably the best burrito we’ve had in MD yet! The Acai bowl is also delicious. With this past experience, we will be coming to Rise up more often!

Food is always great. I love getting cold brews with various flavors. They are never watered down which I appreciate. This is my first time getting food in a while, and they have gluten free tortillas now?!?! And they’re so good! Unlike many gluten free tortillas I have tried. It’s a Shame this is the closest rise up to my house. Because you have about a 50% chance of getting your order correct. It’s incredible that someone’s main job requirement is to just make a cup of coffee. There could be no line or wait at the counter. Still take 15 minutes to get your coffee. And apparently can’t read the directions on the cup to make it correctly.
