I’m biased because I live in Brookline, but this is my favorite bar in Pittsburgh. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Excellent beer selection with a lot of local options. I don’t know how to choose between the burger and the dogs. Get both and live a little.

Red’s has easily become our favorite bar and we continually leave town to go. They go all out on holiday decorations, have 6-7 local rotating taps, including Goodlander cocktails, and have the best vibes. Their food is above average bar food with some awesome hot dog specials on certain days of the week.

Red’s is the quintessential spot to go on Brookline Blvd. It’s amazing for lunch, dinner, or just to grab a beer before walking over to Scoops for ice cream.

I love Reds! It’s such a chill place with great food and drinks. I highly recommend stopping by sometime. Update: they do brunch now on Sundays! It was delicious – we got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and some tater tots. I got the Pacific cooler mimosa and we shared the cereal shot which was fruity pebbles today. It tasted exactly like fruity pebbles!

What a great neighborhood bar! We had wonderful sandwiches, Mac and cheese, chicken and other stuff. The staff was friendly and the window open to the outside was great to watch the world go by!

Cute little bar on Brookline Blvd. You order everything at the bar (food included). Food was good but I do wish they had a few more options and more vegetarian options because it was a very small food menu which I get cause it’s a bar… but vegetarian options were fried food or a salad. Aside from that everything was good and the service was quick. The employees all seemed very nice and it was a cute atmosphere. Very relaxing.

My first time here and it was so fun! Food was great, recommend the smash burger. The ONLY reason I gave service four stars is that I wish they had servers for the outside area. But, going in to order and get drinks wasn’t terrible as the bartenders were on it and crushed it. It was busy and they hustled! Great place all around!

Came here specifically for the infamous Mayers cup and it was so good!!! I loved every item of food we got, and the sauce bar had so many great flavors. Would definitely come back here when we visit Pittsburgh again!

Red’s Good News is my favorite bar in Pittsburgh. I love the atmosphere and the people. The menu is limited, but so good. The Brashear Cheese Bullets are great. The Chicken Tender Salad is great, we always get one. I personally ask for lettuce on both the Chicken Tender Sandwich and the Smash Burger. Just a note, they don’t have tomatoes. I prefer the unseasoned fries over the seasoned. Prices went up a bit since they opened but are still very affordable, which is awesome. The Mayer’s Cup is already a local legend. On the non-alcoholic side, the Fizzy Arnold is super tasty. Love playing the board games in the back.
