The pictures of the pizza they advertise on the fliers is not same what they sell.
See pictures below.
Pizza did not have much sauce on it and sauce was so bland and flavorless chese was okay but it was dry .

The pizza bread was simple bread with chese i could done the same with slice bread .was nothing to enjoy really.

i should have just bought pizza at little cesars w garlic bread for less then what i paid here places like this they short cut the idea of what they have on menu. Makes me just want to focusbon chain pizza places then to try and support the local community.

I also got the spicy chicken wings which they had no meat in the bones to me they tasted they heated em up in microwave and dumped alot of hot sauce it was fine but was turned off by the fact of it.

Too much paid for and would not dare try it again id recommend little cesars rather this.

Someone dropped off their menu at my job a few weeks back.

Decided to go through it and get to know their services.

It started off with their pizza and calamari.

For fried, wish it was a bit crispier to be honest.

Pizza was great 5/5

Then next time I got the cheesy garlic bread and lemon pepper wings.

For the wings it would have been nicer if the breading outside the wing was more crispy / fried on.

Still give it 5/5

Last image I tried their 1/4 cheeseburger w bacon,
2 1/4 patties with cheese,
Gyro sandwich,
And atomic wings.

Honestly the atomic wings were the star of the show. Cooked great and awesome for dipping. Not as spicy as one would expect, but can easily replace buffalo as a default.

The gyro could do with the sports pepper on the side or even without. No one usually gets sports peppers on gyro, so it was a surprise.

If they only added more gyro meat it would be a 5/5 for me. But my sides were touching and it was more a Greek tzatziki pita with onions than what i felt gyros in Chicago are.

The burgers were affordable and tasty!

Just get the pickles on the side if you aren’t a fan, because they stand out.

The bbq sauce i asked for dipping was very runny as apposed to thick like sweet baby rays. I could do without it.

Over all I enjoy their service, prices, and options and will keep going through the menu to find the true hidden gems.

5/5 I recommend trying for a great meal.

Kept me waiting for 30 mins for 3 items
It was take away.
Really bad service whenever I ask how much more should I wait they say 1 minute and made me wait 30+ minutes.
It’s seriously a headache
And one more thing they are not busy at all just one customer who was dining in.

I really do enjoy Di vitas restaurant, their pizzas are damn good but you guys have some issues that should be addressed and I believe there should be some room for improvement.

1) had a delivery driver come one time very very late and didn’t care that they were late. 2 hrs late, not very nice, very unprofessional.
2) you guys charged me twice and for two separate transactions, when I called the restaurant it was the same song and dance, “yea, the manager is not here, can we take your number?” And never got a call back, I also called multiple times and was being ignored and deflected on. Well. Here’s my review. Foods good, service….can be improved…. (I’m wording things pretty nicely btw)

Food was… mediocre. Overcooked, aggressively-mid pasta (see attached picture). Service was fiiiiine, but the waitress kept saying “I’m here for my friend, it’s my first day” when she was the only waitress there- what friend, exactly? The owner, maybe? Whatever. Atmosphere was atrocious. Absolutely truly rancid vibes. Do not recommend.

Ordered the gnocchi, and a few other things. I have had plenty of gnocchi in my life, and this was by the far the worst I have ever had. This isn’t a bad restaurant, but wow I will never get the gnocchi again. It was like slimy pizza dough, and not cooked AT ALL. I added images for reference. We even called to see if maybe it was a mistake and she said it was correct and that’s how it was supposed to be! So since it was totally inedible, we threw it out and wasted our money. Eek.

Di Vita’s has a coupon clearly listed on their website for 2 large one topping pizzas for $28.95. It says, “Coupon valid with direct phone-in orders only”. When I called in to order they said they don’t have that coupon and the price is $32.95. I said “never mind”, and she said “great!”. They really didn’t want my business and will never get it again.

Our very first order was in early November. The Italian Beef Sandwich was outstanding!! The beef was sliced – not minced – like the local brand chain. The au jus sauce is seasoned perfectly, not too spicy. The green peppers are generous, too. The Di Vita’s Special Pizza was okay, initially. The crust was overcooked and the cheese was too thick.

However, on today’s order – 12/14/21 – we learned that there was a temporary cook when we ordered in November, which accounted for the average pizza. Today’s pizza was excellent!!! The mushrooms and green peppers were copious. The Italian sausage and onions were just right for the large-size thin crust. The edges were very crispy, but not burned at all. The sauce is just right for the thin crust. Although the pizza was still hot, the bottom of the crust was a little soggy from the delivery process. However, we use our reheating method. Place some slices in a metal frying pan and cover the pan under low-heat for 4-5 minutes. Result: the crust is crispy once again and the cheese is melted perfectly. YUM!!! The Breaded Zucchini was hot and crispy, still. They were excellent along with the dipping sauce. Once again, the Italian Beef was excellent! The beef is plentiful and juicy. We ordered deluxe this time, with Crinkle Cut Fries and Coleslaw.

Lastly, Linda at the restaurant, is absolutely fantastic in hospitality and customer service! She is polite and accurate when reviewing your order. You definitely get the bang for your bucks from Di Vita’s!!!. We will try their dinner specials in our future orders.

Pictures include: Large 14inch Thin Crust Di Vita’s Special Pizza – Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Green Peppers and Onions, The remaining half of the deluxe Italian Beef order and Fries. Unfortunately, the breaded zucchini never made it to the camera. They were so good!
