Great home cookin’!
Definately a “greasy spoon” diner, but all the locals seem to love it. Everyone was super friendly. Lots of local conversation, “man gossip” and love for community in this place.
First time tasting Jack Salmon, loved it. Meal was accompanied by freshly mashed potatoes and green beans, salad was not so great. Good food, large portions and three sides with entree; a real value.
Hanging on the wall a local artist’s work from the 1960s.
Worth trying once and will be back for another dish of Jack Salmon when get a hankerin’ for it.

This place is an amazing down home restaurant. I am absolutely proud I worked there for years. Never stepped foot in there til I started in April 2018 and been coming back ever since, either for food or a visit. They are ALWAYS open except for 1 day a week and its on Monday. BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVERRRR.

There is infected cats in the back. The dishes were dirty, and the place smells like mold. Food gave my whole family food poisoning. And food was greasy disgusting we only ate 3 bites or so and left. In the back of the cafe there is grease buckets everywhere. Do not recommend this place at all.

The Cafe was extremely un-sanitary and the food tasted horrid. Me and my whole family had food poisoning from it. There were very sick cats in the back of the restaurant and they had big buckets filled with grease. The dishes were dirty and they took almost an hour and a half to get our food out

You always have to wait a while for your food. But, this little home town Cafe serves country home cooking and I have never had a bad meal. There are generous portions with very reasonable price.

So very friendly! Waitress knew the name of everyone who came in while we were there. Food was good, real mashed potatoes, tender roast beef…just a very good, friendly, vintage experience. We will definitely be back!

Would not recommend eating at this establishment simple reason it was dirty like a backwoods gas station bathroom. The food was very subpar. The staff was friendly that’s all I can say.
