We went around 1 pm on a Friday and had no wait and got our appetizers very quickly and they were very good! The Thai tea was so delicious!Absolutely great service here! Our waiter was very personable and asked us our names and even interacted with my young nephew. Him and another man kept checking in to make sure we had all we needed and that we were enjoying our food. Nice dining area decorated for the season as well! I got the orange chicken and it was good but not what I was expected and wished there was a little more sauce. And was hoping to see a sushi menu but there wasn’t one offered and it wasn’t on their main menu so I wasn’t sure if they still did sushi or not and did not ask. Other than that it was overall a very great experience! Next time I am in Farmington I will have to stop in again!

We loved this food! The orange chicken is like a schnitzel and bursting with flavor. This is by far the best pad thai in the area, hands down. It was a fluke that we stopped by, but man we will be adding this place to our regular restaurant rotation. Also, our server was Sway and she felt like family—so friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. Consider us regulars from here on out!

Be well and be comfortable is the translation I’ve read and believe the owners meant when naming this great local restaurant! Chinese food dies in Maine, but Thai food thrives in Farmington! Everyone in our party was pleased with the food, and anything with duck is delicious! Our friend could’ve gotten a little more salad with the the large portion of chicken, but overall everyone was pleased, and it was a fantastic meal!

I got the beef noodle soup and it was literally the biggest bowl of soup I have ever gotten in my life. Their crispy chicken is like the best ever too. The service is always friendly and prompt!!

I have no idea who might be giving this place five stars. They either work there, or have never been to a nice Thai restaurant. They might have even been paid to do it. This place is awful, run down, and dirty. The Thom Kha was edible, but not great. I got the massaman curry. The curry was runny and thin, like water. The curry should be thick, almost like peanut butter. The chicken was in thin crispy strips, which I’ve never seen in any Thai restaurant, and I’ve been to ones with recent Thai immigrants running it. It should be chunks or small, thick strips. The long strips were breaded and contained almost no chicken. I even had to use reading glasses and pull apart the strips to check if it even had chicken in it. It was 99% breading and a very tiny bit of chicken inside. Waitress was nice, but offered no comment when I showed her the strips with all breading. Perhaps something else on the menu might be OK, but I’ll never find out. Now I know why all the tables but one were vacant during lunch hour.

Sabaidee Thai is truly a hidden treasure of Farmington, Maine. Located right off Main street, it is easy to access though parking is limited. Patrons can enter through a small set of stairs off the street. I am unsure if there is an ADA entrance.

Service was quick and friendly. The Thom Yum soup was beautifully seasoned and the ingredients were fresh. I would have included photos of my soup and my pineapple fried rice, alas, I inhaled all of it before I could regain my self control to snag a photo. Trust me when I say that it was irresistible!

The decorations and seating are relaxed but upscale, resulting in a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing venue for a dinner or a party.

Place is very nice and cozy. They have some fun drinks that were very good. The food portions are pretty big. I had the spicy duck 3stars for heat, it was not as spicy as I expected but I guess I could have gone with 4 or 5 stars. All in all the food was ok the place is nice and the service was excellent.

The restaurant is large and spacious, mildly decorated.. the servers are good. The food is disappointing. We ordered the mixed appetizer, it included 2 of each of the following: 2 crab Rangoons- they were wontons with just cream cheese inside, nothing special, the chicken puffs, were also wonton wrappers with just some shredded chris chicken that was dry; chicken satay- a generous portion of chicken, but very dry and deep fried, not seasoned; the veggie spring rolls barely had anything in them, and the little in them lacked any flavor, the shrimp rolls were very also very bland; the dumplings were also in wonton wrappers and fried, the filling was good though.. the pad wooden was the most disappointing… it was glass noodles soaked in soy sauce and a bit of sugar… nothing like pad woonsen. The green curry sauce was good, but the beef in it tasted like nothing, and it only had green beans and green peppers, the rice came shaped like a heart, which was cute. The sushi is what you’d expect from thai restaurant, not fresh..

My daughter and I were exploring Maine for the first time and we’re heading to Farmington. We looked for a place to eat, and based on the reviews, we decided to try this Thai restaurant. The high rated reviews did not steer us wrong! The place is very cozy, the servers super nice, and the food was amazing. I did try the drunken noodles with tofu, and based on the review, I did go ahead and get four stars. It was just the right amount of spiciness for me. And that coconut soup, you really have to try it. I didn’t think that anything could taste so delicious. If we’re ever this way again, I will make a point upcoming again to this restaurant.

Ordered take out and I was anxious to try this place based on a recommendation even after the New Year’s Eve debacle with ordering at 4:30 and never getting my food. I am sadly disappointed with the initial service for takeout and my chicken pad Thai was super dry and I asked for medium spicy and there was no spice whatsoever. I would like to just blame the night but I don’t believe I will return to try again.
