What a great hidden gem! We found this place while driving around the lake. The tuna tartar was excellent. Highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying the lake view.

Lovely location, food and atmosphere. My friends and I enjoyed all of our courses especially the pork. Only downside was the average service. Whilst our waitress was friendly she cleared plates before all of our party had finished and then gave us our bill halfway through dessert. We felt like we were being rushed out and the restaurant wasn’t even full. Would still recommend but a place of this calibre should invest in training their staff a bit more.

View was spectacular. Food was great and just the right sizes. Wife had a 7oz NY Strip (cooked just to her liking) and I had the Basil Pesto Chicken. For dessert we tried the homemade butterscotch pudding — must try for anyone dining here. Service was fantastic. Very attentive without being too eager to please. Checked on us at just the right times.
The only thing lacking was I had noted that this was our 26th Wedding Anniversary in the reservation and there wasn’t a single mention of it by any members of the staff — kind of disappointing. Other-wise, would have been full 5 stars.

My husband and I decided to go out to eat to celebrate the ending of a temp job and the beginning of a permanent one. We did not plan on this originally as we had targeted another establishment in Forest Lake, which had a 45 minute food wait. We did a GPS search and found this one, under its previous name. Checked out the ratings and came.
Valet parking was a surprise and so we asked about wait time. The valet went into the restaurant and came back shortly letting us know that there was none.
We were asked if we wished dining room or bar and chose dining. We were impressed by the professional look of the staff, linen tablecloths, real candles and wine glasses on the tables.
The menu was not large, which is often a sign of a good restaurant that doesn’t spread too thin. There was options of beef, pork, chicken or seafood available. Specials that night included prime rib which I choose, my husband choose lobster man & cheese.
We became aware of a mix up with our appetizer, but it was corrected without us saying anything. I do remember overhearing a waitstaff say that she counted tables to keep things straight. The room was elegant, and the food delicious and well-prepared.
We were tempted by both the dessert menu and after dinner drinks but were too full to try on this visit.
We will come back again.

Our dinner was outstanding, as was our server Heidi. We ordered from the 3-course tasting menu, and added the wine flight. The food was delicious and Heidi helped us by choosing the perfect wine to compliment each course. My mother and I were delighted by the ambiance of the restaurant, including the beautiful view of the lake in full autumn colors. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We recently visited Aqua for dinner on a Sunday March 13th and found the view of lake great but service not so. Our server was not friendly and short. However, the restaurant manager was great and friendly. We had to draw any information out of our server (that’s when we could find her). We noticed that people were being served crab legs and asked her if they have crab legs since we did not see them on the menu. She said “we do have them as a special on Sundays”. It would have been nice to know since we were there on a Sunday?? My finance’ favorite seafood is crab legs. I do not want to bash the place but maybe it was just our server? I am willing to give it another try since the food was very good. I am usually not that critical but when you spent a 185.00 for 3 people I do expect good service.

For the quality and flavor of the food it was extremely overpriced. If our entrees would have been around the $12 mark it would have justified the portion size, flavor and quality.
For instance my shrimp scampi which was $24 just tasted like butter noodles with a couple small shrimp. It was honestly the worse shrimp scampi I have ever had.
I think it would be fine to go here for a burger and drink if you are looking for fine dining stay away.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was absolutely wonderful. It was my birthday and they were very sweet and kind to me and treated our whole family just wonderful. It was an excellent experience as it was my first time at Acqua. I will definitely go again for a very special occasion as that was what it was a very special occasion.

Nice place. Great to be able to have a table by the lake. Spendy and the portions are smaller but in reality the right size. I think you have to justify the price by location and atmosphere here. I had the Basil Pesto Chicken and the wife had the Shrimp Scampi. The wife really liked her dish. Mine was good too, I probably should of ordered something else for my own personal tastes. Will try a steak next time.
