Honestly, I’m not even a big pizza fan — but this one completely changed my mind. The taste was amazing, the crust was perfect, and everything felt fresh and well-made. My family and I used to be huge fans of Bruno’s and have been getting our pizza there for years. However, over the past couple of years we noticed the quaility has been very hit or miss and haven’t been going back as much. After a very positive experience on New Years Eve we decided to go back and we regret that we did.
The margarita pizza we ordered barely had any cheese on it and was extremely sad looking. It did not look fresh or appealing at all and the crust was a strange texture. Then the italian sub we ordered that was $18 was missing the veggies on 3/4s of the sub, was missing substance, and was oddly enough toasted even though it was supposed to be a cold sub. We have never had such a poorly made sub before.
With that being said, I called to speak with an employee over the phone about the disappointing quality of the order. The employee then asked if the order was wrong, I said it was the correct order but the quaility is not up to our standards and that we are very disappointed with what we received. The employee responded that in this case all they could do was apologize and offer me a coupon voucher so I can get a discount on my next order.
It is disheartening that it seems like the employee i spoke with did not really seem to care about the quaility of the food they were serving for the prices they are charging.
