I rarely give five stars in NJ. The food tonight was outstanding. Great smoke flavor and sauces. Hands down best BBQ in NJ that I’ve had. Wings really stood out as outstanding. Great smoke flavor. Could be a little more moist on the brisket but flavor was a 10… Sauces were just great too. Black cherry BBQ was amazing.

4.5 stars. Loved the decor and old pumpkin pine floors but noticed some painting could be done around the baseboards and some light bulbs not illuminated. We arrived right after opening before noon and it was still a little chilly but the hostess noticed and put on the heat. Got the 2 meat platter with ribs and pulled porkalong with corn bread, spicy sausage and Mac and cheese. Also got the cracklings as an appetizer. Cracklings were awesome but never had them before so I have nothing to compare to. The ribs were tender and delicious with just the right amount of BBQ sauce. The pulled pork probably could have used a little more sauce but it wasn’t really missed because the meat was so tender and juicy! Mac and cheese was yummy but I wasn’t a fan of the spicy sausage. There was nothing wrong with it, I am just finicky about some flavors. Butter on the cornbread? Nope. It was not dry and delicious plain. The wife got the tower and loved it as well. We left with plenty of leftovers! Definitely going back.

Waited over 45 minutes after ordering before the appetizer arrived. Another 15 minutes before our order arrived. We asked for sauce on the side and it was a good choice as some of the sauces could overpower the meat flavor. Ribs smoked well. Pulled pork was soft. Brisket wasn’t sliced, but was instead a chunk off the side. Very well made sides too. Also the cornbread is amazing.

Side note: Entrance is hard to see. It is directly behind the gas station.

Our first time visiting….Will NOT go back.

This place used to have a food truck that served decent food. It has now become a restaurant with HIGH END pricing. Very casual- the waitress was NOT dressed up and was wearing a tee shirt.

Upon arrive place was NOT crowded and did NOT have a good vibe and NOT a good welcoming atmosphere.

Let’s face it, it is an OK place for BBQ- food was kind of bland

They serve the food on square stainless steel trays lined with paper. Large plastic squeeze bottles of sauce are on the table. No salt or pepper on the table.

Dinner for four (4) people was over $100 and that is WITHOUT booze. Crazy prices for BBQ when you can go a few minutes down the road and get a high end meal with better food, better service for WAAAY cheaper prices.

The place is nice and clean inside and is sparsely decorated inside with pigs everywhere. They do want you to donate statues of pigs for their decoration- without compensation.

Staff was not that friendly and didn’t follow up.

If you are paying TOP DOLLAR prices- then you should get TOP DOLLAR food and service.

Bottom line- This place misses the mark. 🙁

Stumbled across this gem while traveling from NY to PA because we wanted more than fast food. The food was outstanding, definitely the best bbq in recent memory. The staff was also very friendly. We were almost disappointed the food was so great because we live 2.5 hours away and will crave it all the time now! The cherry bbq brisket slider was the best item. Burrito was a close 2nd.

Love the ribs, brisket and deserts! The only way the experience could get better would be an excellent wait staff. Oh wait! They have that too!
Mosey on down to the Oink and Moo and ask to sit at Claire’s station. She’s bright personal and attentive. We always ask for Claire and you should too!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is excellent, with a bit of heat, and always perfectly cooked. The menus, from food to drink to dessert are creative, with a down-home feel.

First time here and had a great experience. Our server, Alder, was excellent and the food was out of this world. As someone who formally lived in the south, the food was like being in the heart of Dixie.

TexMex and BBQ options. I had the brisket and pulled pork sliders. Enjoyed the food but the price was a little high.
