Great little stop along highway 2. Rustic neat interior. Quick service and attentive waitress. Nice variety of menu items.
Breakfast till they close at 2p. I had the brisket wrap which was tasty. Delicious brisket and coleslaw inside. I had extra BBQ sauce, though I recommend spooning it on the wrap. Otherwise the brisket would fall out.

The service is top notch. Super friendly. The bloodies were $12 but they came with a lot of stuff and a chaser. The breakfast was good. The toast and bacon were the highlights.

Visited here for breakfast recently. My server was amazing! Very kind, knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive. The food, service and atmosphere was great! Prices were very reasonable. The blueberry pie and coffee were perfect! Seating was immediate. The mini gift shop was super cute too!

This is my go to place for breakfast when I’m staying at my friend’s cabin. I will say it is a bit on the pricey side. The help is awesome and it has a great atmosphere. They make a mean bloody Maria also.

Locally sourced food that is actually cooked to order. That being said, it was rather spendy for the special that day ($18.95 for the Stuffed Strawberry Waffle & Sausage). The locally made breakfast sausage from Jim’s Meats made it almost worth it. I was very satisfied with my Corned Beef Hash & Eggs. Fresh milk from Tetzners Dairy! Good service from Patty.

Awesome food. Great service. So cozy and welcoming. Took special attention for my son with allergies. Eggs Benedict was fantastic. Wanted the country fried as well but guess I’ll just have to stop again when we come through. Macy was friendly and great with my kids. Overall an absolutely wonderful experience. Will definitely be back.

The Rustic Roost is definitely a “go to” in Iron River! They make your food just how you want it and accommodate special diets. Being gluten free I absolutely LOVE their GF buns I get in place of regular bread/toast. SOO GOOD! Kim, Klaus and Macy and all the staff are so friendly and make sure you have plenty of coffee! They also have great merch for sale! One of my favorite pieces is their Rustic Roost cowl-neck sweatshirt that is so cozy and soft! Perfect for a cool, Fall day! We will be back!!
