My family is Venezuelan and we come to Bergenline to visit our Peruvian side of family, so weirdly we’ve never looked for Venezuelan food. The tequeños were decent and the arepa pabellón criollo was sooo yummy (pic inserted). But the part that made me so happy were the candies- El Susy y el Toronto. Took me to my childhood right away! We will be back.

BEST VENEZUELAN EMPANADAS IN TOWN!!
We ordered through Uber Eats and they arrived in about 20–30 minutes, still warm and absolutely delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, with generous filling in every bite. The meat was beautifully seasoned, not too salty, not bland at all. You can really taste the care put into them.
I 100% recommend them and will definitely order again!

This restaurant has several premade dishes for diners to come in and eat with nearly no wait time. The portion size is quite generous and the food is pretty tasty. If you are eating in, the dining area is fairly clean. Prices are very affordable and credit cards are accepted. Try the carne guisada or the albondigas, you can’t go wrong with either although the roasted chicken looks quite nice too.

Wonderful and crispy empanadas. Filled from top to bottom. Cachapa with cheese and shredded meat is huge and so tasty. They have daily specials and more Venezuelan food like Tequeños, arepas, pepitos. Also Venezuelan candy. Prices are adorable for the amount of food you get. There’s no parking lot but you might be lucky and find one on the street.

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. We would always order the arepas and their delicious shakes. UNFORTUNATELY, after placing an order today for 4 shakes, we discovered a roach amongst the drinks. We’re horrified. Never ordering again, and I would highly recommend thinking twice before placing that order

This is an excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are fresh and cooked “como en tu casa” (like you’re at home), definitely. Plenty of seats available, comfortable atmosphere and the staff are always ready to help you with your meal.

If there was an option for 0 stars I would choose that but unfortunately there isn’t. Me and my family order 5 empanadas de carne. It was too expensive and the lady told me to wait 7 minutes. I waited and kept coming back in after 7 minutes. But they were not ready. They finished making 4 empanadas in about 30 minutes and they told me to wait for the 5th empanada they were going to make at the moment. I told them to cancel my order the lady was VERY rude. She told me she can’t do that and said that I can just get the 4 empanadas. She threw the bag at the counter and gave me an attitude. She slammed the money at the counter with a sassy attitude. That was unacceptable. When I opened the bag. The empanadas were burnt and all greasy. This is completely unacceptable will never come back and I hope they teach this lady to be more respectful.

I’ve only been for their breakfast which is reminiscent of Dominican mangu with 3 golpes and pickled onions. Really good and affordable. Their tequeños which are breaded cheese sticks and choice of two sauces, one Cilantro based and the other mayo ketchup are delicious. Excellent juices that are not too sweet. Overall good in my book.

I been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally did.
Cleanliness the first thing I see. Everything was organized, clean and the place layout was fresh and spacious.
Service was fast, ladies are very sweet.
Food was excellent I loved it! You have to try the Cuban Sandwich!!
I give only 4 stars because bathroom was not baby friendly, there was not changing station. I have to rush my meal so I could go to McDonald’s across the street to change my baby.
Tip: Please play Cuban music…that would be great.
