I want this review to be fair, so a couple things first, I don’t drink alcohol and I’m not into the bar scene. Food was actually very good. But the reason for the 3 star is my wait and atmosphere. They were very busy when I came at 1910 on a Monday. But after sitting at the bar and placing my order, it took an hour to receive my burger and veggies. Others around me also took about an hour for their food. Staff was busy, but not that busy. To be fair, they did take 15% off my bill for the excessive wait. However the wait for the seat and the wait for food had me there for 2 hours. I was really tired of listening to the drunk hunters next to me talking loud about their adventures, and just wanted my food and to leave.

I was skeptical after reading the reviews, and decided to go anyways. Very glad we did. We travel the country and eat all over, this place was phenomenal.
Wednesdays and every other Saturday is steak nights, that bummed us out but everything we got was absolutely delicious. Do not let the bad reviews steer you away, Our waitress did tell us some nights there are other waitresses that are not very good but ours was exceptional.

Not sure what to say about this place anymore. Better than what it used to be with the old owner but it still isn’t good. The wait staff is the only good thing about this restaurant. Takes forever to get your food. Don’t bother coming here unless you have an hour or more to spare. Really wish I could give a good review but I’ve been here several times and it’s not gotten any better.

My wife and I are just out running around the state for our anniversary and seeing some things we’ve never seen before which includes Alva. The shift manager at our hotel recommended this restaurant and said it was very good and he was spot on correct. We got the platter with the ribs and brisket and side salad and it was wonderful. Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had and that means even over Texas! Great job everyone.

Well after sitting at the bar for 25 min I’m still sitting here watching the waitresses on there phones and nobody has said one word to me just walk by with crickets stood at the door waiting to ask to sit at the bar the girl sat on here phone no one word I just wanted a steak and a drink I don’t recommend this place at all looks nice but someone need to teach them a bit of how to run things still the entire time I’ve been doing this review crickets pretty lame ok I don’t know why I stayed and even ordered food it eas not great I’d rather take my chances with fast food the Ruben sandwich was soggy and nothing but fat with a taste of char worst one I’ve ever had had the chicken straps frozen fake meat probably lab grown servers are rude sloppy and lazy mind blowing that such a nice setup is full of lazy slobs that don’t give a crap about you so imagine how your food tastes and how safe is it if I get food poison I’ll report that the health department should look into this place even the French fies had no flavor and soggy only thing I liked was the cream cheese bacon wrapped poppers slightly
