My boss had been talking about this place for a while and we finally made it in. And WOW!! Honestly the moment you walk in you are greeted by the cashier with a smile and super friendly. You have a choice of already made burgers or build your own. My husband had the Rodeo and I had the Garlic Mushroom burger and it was amazingly delicious. The mead is ground fresh and fries are cut fresh. This place is definitely a 10/10. If you are in Escondido I recommend 100%

First time try recommended by a friend! All the ingredients are healthy and fresh! Original and mushroom burgers tasted good. Tastey buns and meat patty. I didnt taste much of mushrooms, so I would stick with original. The fries were fresh and could really taste the potatoes! Cute bar seating area and cute decor. Staffa all seemed happy.

Right when you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are always friendly, incredibly helpful and quick to smiles. I’ve had the loaded fries with cheese, bacon, grilled onions, your choice of spread ( original, garlic, Chipotle) with the option of adding a beef patty (which I always do) and the Garlic Mushroom specialty burger and brother, they never have disappointed!
The icing on the cake is the beef tallow wellness cream that they offer as a sample. I tried once, and immediately purchased one for myself and four for my family and friends. People mind you, that are incredibly picky and have sensitive skin. They love it and have even asked for another container as one of my family members lives across the country. Today I went back and purchased it for her and will be traversing the miles to the east side of the country.

So let me just say their homemade ranch is PHENOMENAL!! My brother found this spot and I was blown away by that ranch. Im a ranch girlie, and this one has some flavor that makes me soo happy! The burger, not quite sure what they do but it definitely hits the spot. Its not your average fat patty, its thin so I would recommend getting the BYO Double. Personally, because you can never go wrong with the extra meat. I would love if they had the option for avocado because I cant do cheese. Thatd be my one hope that they add.
Ive never been inside, so not quite sure how it looks in there. I can say they do have a great turnaround time. My brother and I went to grab some food after a hike and he was in there may e 15 minutes while I waited in the car. So they do work quick and its delicious. The fries are crispy too!

The staff and food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered a Build-Your-Own burger with a double patty, white cheddar, grilled onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and garlic spread, and it was probably top 3 burgers I have ever had in my life! And the quality and attention to detail was on point. The service was also off the charts when we came in with a party of 13, and they were so welcoming and accommodating. And I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

Straight up TRASH, all grease, absolutely no flavor. How can you have that much grease and fat on something and no flavor at all!? What a waste of money. I can respect tallow, and seed oils, but taste is MIA. You can just see the grease in the 1/5 inch thick patty… barely any meat to be quite honest which ain’t a surprise if you look at the pics but I was hoping that it would make up on flavor and quality ingredients. Total failure. What a disappointment. This is honestly annoyingly and disrespectfully bad food. I’d question any good reviews. My son was gagging bcuz he said he bit into straight up grease but hey if that’s up your alley be my guest.

Loved this spot! A huge plus that everything is seed oil–free, and you can really taste the difference. Emma helped us and was so sweet and helpful, which made the experience even better. Delicious hamburgers, great service, and such a refreshing place to find clean ingredients.

From the moment we stepped into Farm to Smash, we were greeted with a warm welcome. I was thrilled to discover that they use beef tallow instead of seed oils. I ordered the Rodeo, and my father chose the Flamin, both burgers exceeded our expectations. Midway through my meal, I thought the burger could be elevated with some fresh tomato and lettuce. To my pleasant surprise, one of the chefs noticed my predicament and kindly brought out a serving of both. Kudos to him! The steak fries were crisp, perfectly fried, and utterly delicious. Overall, the service was outstanding, the burgers were superb, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quality. A solid 5/5 experience. (Only reason atmosphere got 4/5 because it’s a little small inside)

We were excited to try this place. The reviews online were good. We went in around 4:45 on a Saturday and there was a small line. That’s a good sign. You could see guys in the back actually grinding beef to make ground beef for the patties, impressive.
I ordered the mushroom garlic burger and a large garlic fry (for two of us).
The burger was mediocre really. I ended up smothering it in ketchup still and ate it all. The fries were mediocre as well. I wouldn’t get the garlic ones, even though the young lady taking our order suggested it. The garlic fries had minimal garlic flavor and just tasted of raw garlic. We ended up throwing away 80% of the fries. (See photo for what we tossed)

This place was delicious! Fries were probably the best fries I have had in a long time. Burger, amazing! Their garlic spread was delish! Loved the atmosphere. They use beef gallon for the fries, make their own ground beef, and their buns and veggies are from local business. Such a great place. Will most definitely be coming back!!!
