Best pupusas in the Tampa area. Nice smooth consistency, freshly made with copious amount of filling. The cheese and lorocoe pupusa were xtremly good. The curtido was a bit more salty than I like it but tangy, slightly spicy, and origano forward. On the upside, I felt compelled to make some burritos and bought cabbage on my way home.
I did shop some hard to find cans and dried hominy. Prices were good. One filling, tasty, freshly made order of 2 pupusas, curtido, and salsa cost me $5.

The best pupusas in town this is by far the most consistent restaurant in Tampa the flavor the portions and the Value have always been there, the ladies in the kitchen pouring their heart and soul into the food, they don’t cut corners I’m so disappointed in most of the restaurant in the area

I take pride to support local and “Mi Gente”…
But: 1* $13 recession affected Yuca con chicharron? Dried paste, no flavor food.
2* Beware…Prices are not posted so they charge you ramdonly…
3* Spoke w owner, and the responded was: “it’s the way make it”…no attempt whatsoever to make it better…
I’ts really disappointed, expected much more.

My dad and I have been coming here for years, since I was a little girl. These are the best pupusas in Tampa, we drive 30 minutes just to eat here. My favorite is the Queso con loroco and the Horchata is amazing! This place is also a store, they have so many good foods in stock that you won’t find at a normal latin market. This is a family business and you feel it when you walk in, they welcome you with open arms and talk to you like you are part of their family. This is such an amazing place and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to taste the best pupusas.

Best pupusas I’ve had in a long time. You can tell that these are hand made and it’s a real pupusa. It is NOT two tortillas with queso in the middle and you get an oversized pupusa with too much tortilla. It is THE perfect amount of tortilla with the queso to the point that is spills out and creates this crunchy cooked cheese on the edges. The curtido that it’s served with is just as good, a little spicy. The hot sauce is good, spicy but not too spicy. One order of the queso pupusa gets you 4 queso pupusas, a side of cortido and hot sauce for $10. Order extras to go, they reheat perfect in an air fryer! Besides the food it is also a small market for mainly imported Salvadorian food. Staff was friendly and polite. 5 stars all the way, can’t wait to go back. Photo of my visit last week is uploaded.

The price here is WAY over priced! 15 bucks for a scoop of beans, cream, eggs , a small piece of cheese, and tortillas is ridiculous!
