First time here. Had the giant beef rib, which was excellent and superb with a good bark and a good smoke ring. One of these ribs is enough for a person. I’m done eating now but still salivating from that good, clean smoke flavor. I had The hush puppies for my side, and they were phenomenal and I would recommend them heartily. Pleasantly surprised at how good it was here; Vermont is not known for BBQ but Mark BBQ got me my BBQ fix in the middle of winter. Can’t wait to go back.

Another Google find. The brisket was delicious, the ribs had plenty of meat on them but were a little cold, the pulled pork was not fatty and the sausage had a great clean taste. The two sauces complemented each other. My wife had the red potato salad and Mac & Cheese. The place has an indoor picnic feel to it. The staff seemed very pleasant and they provide a military discount which I always appreciate.

Finally got to dine here for the first time. Good atmosphere with good food. Brisket and burnt ends were really good! Better with the in house bbq sauce they have on the table. Fresh and hot mac & cheese and baked beans. You know it’s a good place to eat when they know the people that come’s in.

They’re now in the Burlington area! Missed them when they were in Essex, was able to enjoy two trips when they moved to Colchester and now they’re almost next door to me
We love their smoked meats, chili is a lot better and service just as awesome as always. This time the dining area is not as ample but just as cozy. Highly recommend!

The barbecue brisket was not as tender and could have used lots of flavor, the sausage was good, so were the collard greens. I will say I had had better barbecue so I will not be rushing to head back there but overall okay place for something different.

Holy omelette. What a feast I had. I haven’t had an omelette in ages. I ordered the 3 egg (Hugh) western omelette with a side of home fries. Greg had a short stack of the blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. Real maple syrup also. One word describes both DELICIOUS and plentiful. It’s a bit to find but we’ll worth the end result.
They also have smoked meats. I am indeed a fan and was given a taste. New customer now. Do your self a favour and treat yourself to either breakfast, lunch or BOTH.

These guys always knock it out of the park and have mastered barbecue to-go. Yesterday was more of a quick snack variety pick-up, rather than a more formal meal, but still very delicious. Great food, genuinely nice owner and crew – I just wish the location was closer to my home!

Very good Texas style BBQ. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork and wings are all fantastic. The Carolina style mustard BBQ sauce is best I have had and the Dr Pepper BBQ sauce is my favorite.

Pulled pork – very very good, its a little on the greasy side, but don’t let that put you off. It only adds to the flavor
Brisket – also very good, ask for sauce though
Maple bourbon BBQ sauce – unique, good sauce. Gotta have the maple in vt!
Crack sauce – the name does it justice, be careful or you might develop a problem.
The best choice for southern BBQ in Vermont, very reasonably priced.
