Such an interesting concept I wish I saw more of. A bookstore, eatery & mini mart all in one. Normas plant based cuisine had so many great vegan options. The salad and green smoothie were delicious. The the bookstore had such a cute kid section setup & the mini mart had mainly plant based options (which was a bonus). 10/10 recommend for a little bookstore with a twist concept or some lunch !

My first time here I had lentil soup was good but pricey for a bowl but it was good. I tried my friend chik Alfredo pizza it was bad tasteless, uncooked thick dough , soggy and I guess the Alfredo sauce tasted like some type of mayo the chik tasted really weird for the price she paid pizza was horrible and sloppy..Also my other friend got a vegetable wrap and the parchment paper stick to the wrap when she tried to take it out the whole wrap come apart so it become raw vegetables salad. I read other review that people complain about the same thing but that has not changed so not a great experience..

Me and my mom came here a week or so ago first thing in the morning. I thought I was going into an actual restaurant but come to find out it’s a café in a bookstore. Beautiful clean place good people the lady that took my order I appreciate her help guiding me towards the options that was part of my dietary lifestyle. I got the Breakfast Arepas plus cilantro sauce on the side and a Mango Lime Smoothie, my mom got the Breakfast sandwich a Mango Nectar juice and Jones sugar cane lemon lime sod which tasted like sprite but smoother and clean. The food was Amazing I have no Complaints but the smoothie I don’t if they don’t have a good blinder or what but I kept get chunks of lime peels that turnt me off but the favor/ taste was great but texture was not it. My mom enjoyed her whole meal including the drinks again MY only complaint is her breakfast sandwich look like lunch sandwich I wish the burger buns was biscuits instead, that’s all. I highly recommend and look forward to coming back very soon to get 2 Arepas

I didn’t know this Vegan place was here, and it was a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious. The place is not cheap, higher priced than other Vegan restaurants, but totally worth it. Employees speak Spanish, and the Cocada and Arepas were my favorite! Loved the lentejas soup and empanadas! Will return!

Ordered to-go through Uber eats and this place did not disappoint! The food here is by far one of the best vegan places I’ve had. The attention to taste, quality and presentation has been met. Even us vegans can be picky eaters, and this place sealed the deal! I literally had to make sure the Reuben was vegan because it taste like the real thing! I will definitely be returning with friends and family! Fresh and healthy food at its best!

Great vegan spot, I found this place due to a friend living close by and having eaten from there. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was delicious and tasted very fresh. We also grabbed some mini arepas, and those are just wonderful. Crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside.
Located inside of a commercial office building, this place is hard to find and see, worth looking for though. Check them out if you’re in the Maitland/Altamonte area.

Was looking for a quick lunch near me on my way into work- which takes 20 minutes of google searching if you’re a vegan. Norma’s was the closest to me that wasn’t selling gourmet avocado toast and calling themselves a vegan restaurant. The menu’s diversity is very inviting! I decided on the chicken alfredo pizza and called it in. Norma herself answered. The location is a bit wonky it’s inside an Advent Health Bookstore but the signage gets you there. Very cute inside! Staff was friendly at Norma’s and asked if it was my first time. Tried one bite on my drive and came straight to the reviews. FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!! The pizza was so so so good. Great portions on toppings, cooked to perfection, beautiful garnish. Norma- your employee said you have a new location opening and i’m very excited to see this business grow. Very very good vegan food is hard to find. Thank you for lunch and my new favorite lunch spot!

Love this place! Legit my fave vegan food! I can’t help. It get an arepa each time I get food. And the plant based chicken alfredo pizza is so good! I also love that when I get amazing food, I can also buy some delicious vegan delights to take home with me that are hard to find! Love Norma’s and I’ll definitely be back!

I used to eat here everyday spending $30-$60 a day until I moved away. About 3 yrs later I drove 2hrs to get a burger and pizza and the burger patty was room temperature with no flavor and the cheese wasn’t melted. I had to go to a gas station just to put it in the microwave. And the pizza had little to no tomato sauce and a lot of what taste like mayo under the cheese. I don’t know why they changed how they originally made their food but I couldn’t even eat any of it. Oh and the fries that I ordered was homemade and under cooked. They were soft and soggy. Norma if you’re the one reading this your family need to be in the kitchen producing quality food because the employees in their are either messing up the food or these changes was a bad decision. This will be my last time eating here because there is no way I’ll drive this far for this quality of food.

Good lunch spot! A hidden gem inside a bookstore! Great healthy vegan and gluten-free Latin food options! The owners are sweet and passionate about their food and it’s delicious! A must-have is the Arepas Rellenas “the works”.
