People are friendly greeting you when you come in. Everything is made by hand not cookie cutter like Dunkin’ & Krispy Kreme. So far I’ve had cinnamon rolls with icing on top, Bear claws, cheese Danish, cherry cheese Danish. Everything I’ve had has been tender, soft and very flavorful.
The price might seem a little high but you have to remember the taste and freshness far out weighs the cost. Dunkin’ and Krispy Kreme are not cheap either but the taste cannot compare to a homemade bakery. Treat yourself and visit, pick a few things and enjoy. I think once you try some different items items there you’ll make it a point to go back again and again. They do have a few small tables there for you to enjoy the goods right away with some beverages. It’s been in business a long time and there’s some pictures on the wall of when they first opened. I think it was in the 1950’s I think. Give them a try, go in the morning earlier rather then later because they sell out of a lot of things. I went at 11am one time and it was slim Pickens but it did force me to try something I would never order before and that was the strawberry cheese Danish. Wow, that was really good. I really think you would like this place if you give it a try. All this talk about Danish rolls has got me hankering for a few. I’m on my way. Enjoy guys, I will.

A local institution in Harrison, the home bakery delivers consistently delicious baked goods and pastries. We carry out trays for work events and special occasions and love the joy their items bring our guests. Strongly recommend the seasonal options like the pumpkin doughnut in the fall.

I grew up with this bakery, we go every Sunday to get 4 donuts. Today, was $10.50, which is just too expensive. Every week it gets more expensive, and I think we will have to go elsewhere. 2 stars because the donuts are good, but I don’t think we will be back, which is a shame, because we like supporting small local business

We went out of the way to stop here off of I 74 on our way to Indy. None if us liked our donut & I rarely say that about a donut. I got 2- a choc iced cream filled & a Carmel iced Persian. Both had way to much icing and neither was fresh & good.I didn’t finish eating either & wouldn’t go back.
