We came at 5:25p and there were 2 guys working and one of them immediately said ” I just want to let you know that I’m about to close.” When I asked what he meant he said that he had been working for a long time today and he wanted to “go home” but he wasn’t going to leave his coworker to work the counter alone so he was just going to shut down the store entirely. To which I asked “Okay, so can I order a sandwich right now and then leave?” He said no.

My partner wanted to try the churro so we ended up off the highway for it here. It was about an hour before closing on a Thursday. The store was dead so they were already cleaning up, but stopped to take my order. All I got was the churro, so the whole experience was quick. We ended up not being a fan of the texture of the churro. Everything matched expectations. The store was clean and everything was good enough.

TRAVELERS BEWARE, as well as Vernon residents! THIS subway is below par!!! I used the app to order and pay. When I arrived the workers said they did not receive an order. I show my order number and receipt. I asked if they would make it, I would wait! They refused! I asked for a refund and they said I needed to complain on the website. There is a reason they do not allow you to leave a message on any number listed! Finally, you would think the owner would be able to help, but no. It’s no wonder his employees lack customer service because he obviously doesn’t care about his stores. He also owns the Iowa Park Subway! I sent him all the proof including where it was deducted from my bank account.He too said there was no order placed!!!! Please pick other Vernon establishments, I’m sure you will not be treated as a liar or thief!! Bottom line it’s been 12 days and I have still not received my money! I hope this post helps someone

I came by .. no body to serve customers for 10 mins.
Update: after 10 mins. of waiting a young pale blue-eyed guy came so nervous and started serving my order .. smashing bread and cook wear in the toaster, then he left my order after being toasted and started serving the next customer .. I left in the middle of the sandwitch-building process ..
And headed directly to the opposite side where Macdonald’s says WELCOME.
I have never received such a demeanor customer service before .. even in my home country.
Just conduct a drug test for the whole staff .. there is something wrong amongst them all.

After finishing my meal at McD.
Despite the fact that they are rated 2.9 and Subway is rated 3.8, McD has a minimal level of quality.

After waiting 10 min to be helped, I went to get 6 foot long sandwiches they refused to make it because I didn’t call ahead. I have 17 grandchildren we are always spur of the moment. So needless to say Subway in Vernon Texas does not ever have to be burdened by us again. There are too many options in the area and are way more “Family Friendly”.

I have ordered so much here lately one time I ordered it 3 seperate times and all 3 times it was wrong, how incompetent do you have to have to be to work there? I’m so sick of it, they never have a full inventory the bread is stale half of the time, it’s ridiculous.

They screw up you order and when you complain they cuss you out.. and won’t fix the problem!!!! The whole staff needs replaced… Never been treated so poorly in my life.. You can’t even call and talk to customer service.You have to go online and do it, and then they never answer you back and nothing ever gets done. Subway, we are done, never again in vernon..

I’ve given this place THREE chances, largely because I’ve been that desperate for a subway sandwich. Not once have they been able to serve me, this most recent time they literally started just listing what they were out of as soon as I walked in the door.
