We like to find and try out different coffee spots so this morning we picked here! The location used to be a ski shop. Beautiful old brick building with lots of character. They have a pretty extensive coffee and tea menu. Food selection is slightly more limited. I had the brown sugar latte which I really enjoyed. A bit like a Cuban coffee. I also tried the turkey pesto panini. It was nice and toasty on a cold dreary morning. My man got the American which is his go to! And the everything bagel breakfast sandwich which is veggie cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes and micro greens. We will definitely go back one day!

Really enjoyable coffee ☕ place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really unique interesting and tasty coffee and tea options. Great baked goods and a great space to to chill, talk or work.

Nice spot
But … Coffee is inconsistent, eg, got two takeaway coffees, one super hot, one barely warm.
On other visits a takeaway cortado is perfect, it has far too much milk

Reister’s Daughter has quickly become one of my favorite places to be in the world! The atmosphere is so warm & welcoming, it’s a great spot to plug in & work, and they have my favorite iced coffee of all time. The pastries are EXCELLENT and sometimes feature local produce, like this pop tart made from Baugher’s apples!

The Reister’s Daughter is such a cute coffee shop and the staff is so friendly. I’ve been trying to get out of the house more since having a baby and this has become my go-to. I love the iced brown sugar latte as it’s not too sweet or milky. The cinnamon rolls are also divine

Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful. I actually ordered delivery from here not knowing it wasn’t a service they offered and the owner drove it to my house herself. After a long night up with my baby, it really made my day!

A beautiful, welcoming community spot with lots to offer. Service is always friendly, and the baristas are always happy to make small talk and offer suggestions. The owner, Kelsey, is regularly in the shop, eager to chat with patrons. The pastries are exceptional, with a slew of rotating seasonal options. Coffee never disappoints. The expanded seating area inside and outside has really opened up the space and made it a great place to work for a bit or catch up with friends. It’s also very kid-friendly with menu items and toys to please the younger customers. Highly recommend supporting this small business!

Great cafe, but weird moment of being skipped. I love supporting independent coffee shops and drove here to check it out. I loved the space and the arranged fresh flowers and windows with outdoor light. I ordered a latte and it was excellent, staff was pleasant and kind. I did however had an unpleasant encounter with a customer, who cut in front of me without asking, said she was just getting a bag of coffee. I assumed she was in a rush and let it go. Then she placed a full custom order and asked her friend what she wanted too. I felt an ick—a quiet pang, I am Asian American and it was my first time visiting both the coffee shop and Reisterstown. In my experience, this is often how racism shows up. Not loud or hostile but subtle.
It’s not really about the woman but the invisible sorting that happens in shared spaces whose presence is treated as mattering and whose is treated as optional.
The cafe itself is lovely. But the moment stayed with me.

Ultra cozy coffee shop with a nice parking lot and outdoor seating area out back. It’s right next to the local library as well so this is a great first stop if you’re headed to the library to get some work done. I tried one of their classics the Brown sugar latte and had a phenomenal Apple cardamom danish to go with it. This feels like what I imagine when I close my eyes and think of a coffee shop: integrated seamlessly into the local community, and a quiet but warm and comfortable place to have a conversation or get some work done while enjoying great coffee and treats.

Came in a while back with a friend for a morning coffee. I decided to try the Maple Cinnamon Latte to try something new, it was very good and had a heavy maple taste. The serving size was very good and the price was lower than corporate competitors close by.

Good service. Our orders were brought to us very quickly.

The atmosphere was nice, it has a really local and warm vibe. There’s also a little outdoor area in the back if you would like some fresh air while enjoying your coffee.

I will be coming back!

I visited The Reister’s Daughter for the first time a couple of week ago. If you have not been here, be sure to check it out if you are in the area. The shop is in a beautiful old building and they have recently extended their footprint on the first floor. The food is all baked and prepared on site. I was there for a networking event and the service was exceptional. I did not try any of the teas (I hear that this a specialty of the owner) but will do so on my next visit.
