I came back in town for Thanksgiving and while we were running errands we got hungry and wanted to try something new. Then I remembered this Indian restaurant that I tried before, even though my husband has not.

I visited this place back when it was still smaller and had not expanded yet. I still remember the food being delicious so I was really excited to come back. We went around lunch time and it was not too busy. We decided to do the buffet since I knew they added it after the expansion, but I never got a chance to return until now.

The buffet was 19.99 per person. I am not sure if that was a holiday price or the regular price. The food was amazing and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the mushroom masala and the butter chicken. Their goat curry was also very good, the meat did not have any strange taste or smell. I do not usually like goat so I was hesitant, but this one surprised me and I actually liked it.

The service was super nice and attentive. The server noticed we did not have naan because they were out at the moment, and when the fresh batch came out he brought it to our table right away. He talked to every table and made sure everyone was doing good, and he also listened to feedback.

Everything was great, but me and my husband both felt that having a few more food options would make the buffet even better. The selection was still on the smaller side, although I do understand Indian food can be more expensive and time consuming to prepare. I do wish they had samosas and garlic naan. The regular naan is good but garlic naan always hits different. If you do not want buffet you can also order plates instead.

After about thirty minutes I noticed a lot more people started coming in, which means this place is well loved and popular.

Overall it was a good experience. The price is a little high for the amount of selection, but the food quality is top tier so it still feels worth dining in. We would definitely come back again

While traveling to Florida, we came across a restaurant offering pakistan and indian food. We decided to dine there, and the experience was excellent. They even provide a prayer space if you ask. The food was delicious we ordered Dal Makhani with rice and Chili Chicken, and everything tasted amazing. If you live nearby or are visiting the area, I highly recommend this place.

When I was in Baton Rouge, this place was my go-to spot whenever I wanted a real, authentic, flavor-rich meal. I tried almost every item on their menu just for the joy of discovering new flavors, and I was never disappointed. I really miss it.

P.S. For anyone who doesn’t like spicy food: many dishes are on the spicy side. You can ask for the spice level to be adjusted, but in my opinion it’s still fairly spicy (which I personally enjoy)—just something to keep in mind if you prefer mild flavors.

Chicken Briyani was amazing. Must try. Spices were just right. Not hot (chill or pepper) was less. So everyone can try without hesitation. I ordered online so not sure about atmosphere. Blend the spices (looks like Prunes) and Don’t remove them.

Our waiter was so helpful and friendly. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and melt in your mouth delicious. We are already looking for more excuses to visit Baton Rouge and Al-Noor. It was an absolute treat.

Call ahead and verified they do indian hot, individual confirmed they will do super spicy. Made the drive and was seated. Restaurant was clean and service was good. Ordered the lamb vindaloo indian hot, the hottest they have. Food came out and it was very tasty, just mild at best. Tabsco would have been hotter. When checking out they asked how it was and I expressed the disappointment in spice level, as I even called ahead. Was told they dont do that unless they know you or have seen you around.

……what? If I figure out the secret handshake for spicy I’ll head back and give it another shot.

I loved the lunch buffet which three of us had today at Al Noor Kitchen. It had a nice selection, from Baigan (eggplant) to Keema Curry (ground chicken) and Chicken Tikka Masala curry. The Tandoori chicken was so tender it fell off the bone. Naan was fresh and soft, and not greasy at all as many Indian restaurants put too much butter on the outer layer. There was even Raita (a yoghurt condiment), my favourite, and mango pudding for dessert. It was definitely delicious Indian food and clearly prepared by a knowledgeable chef. The only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant interior, which is bare bones and frankly unattractive. But as my father used to say, “You can’t eat the decor!” So it doesn’t matter. The food does matter, and it was worth the drive from the other side of town.

When I say they picked the right person to host and serve, she made the experience a 10/10. Great food and amazing service definitely recommended this place to a few people since I’ve gone

This place is so yummy! I love the Gobi Manchurian and the malai kofta. The dishes have a lot more spice that I usually have. Very well seasoned. If you have issues with how spicy a dish is, certainly let them know. I wasn’t asked about spice level last time I was there and my dish was very spicy. I enjoyed it, but did sweat a little. The naan bread is so yummy, too!

I loved the samosa chaat. It was very tasty.
