Falling in love with Charleston gave him the perfect setting. Not quite wanting to give up his fine dining roots, he came up with an idea.

Best in Charleston! From the presentation to the attention to detail 10/10 with top tier customer service. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner Anthony he took excellent care of me. I was referred by my colleague and l will not only return but recommend as well. Thank you!

We went to get bagels at a restaurant nearby but there was a line down the block, so we walked to The Pass and were SO glad we did! We got a Nice Italian Boy and a Lox Jawn — both were fantastic. The lox was thicker cut than you typically find and delicious. High quality ingredients all around.

Looking for an incredible sandwich spot downtown in Charleston? Take a stop into The Pass off Spring St. I had the Americano which was truly remarkable. I’ve had a lot of great sandwiches, but this place is straight dynamite on your palate! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

This place is awesome! Amazing sandwiches and super friendly staff. We got the southern hospitality (pictured) and really enjoyed it. Would recommend!

There is nowhere to sit to eat. It would seem they could put a couple of tables and chairs like so many places do.

Stopped in for a quick bite and my wife and I were blown away by the quality and the quantity of the sandwiches. Highly recommend splitting one sandwich, they are that big and filling.

Amazing sandwiches! The LT Americano is my favorite sandwich, the bread is so good! I’ve also tried the such a nice Italian boy, and it’s also fantastic, but the Americano is still my favorite.

My husband and I had lunch here yesterday and I can’t say enough about it! Hands down the BEST SANDWICH I have had since moving here from Bay Area California 11 years ago. I had the Southern (Italian) Hospitality and hubby had the Such a Nice Italian Boy. The bread is made especially for them by a local bakery and it does not disappoint! Portions are large enough that I was able to eat half for lunch and take the rest to go for dinner later. My chicken was moist and flavorful. I had placed the order the previous day for pickup as we were in Charleston for a doc appointment. This made it easy and stress free. We were early so ended up sitting at the counter, employees (rock stars!) were happy to accommodate us. I will make sure to eat here for every coming visit to Charleston! Bravo!!

As former New Yorkers, my wife and I initially had trouble finding a good artisan deli once we moved to Charleston. Charleston obviously has great sandwich shops, but none of them have the authentic and Italian-inspired flavors that you would find in NYC. Thankfully, Anthony opened up The Pass and it has been our favorite spot ever since.
