I’m so glad we found this place. Food was delicious. The brisket was super tender, juicy, and came in a hot stone pot. Everything we ordered (pork belly, seafood pancake, fried rice) was a hit. Kids all loved it too which is always a plus. Will definitely be back!

I came here for the first time with family and it was a mix of SOLID authentic Korean and delicious korean fusion. It’s a young cute husband and wife pair running the whole place. I especially loved the ramen cheese rissoto and the gochujjan jjiae!

Stopped by during lunch time to try out their Kimchi Roni Melt and it was absolutely delicious. Kimchi, pepperoni, and melted cheese in a sandwich never tasted so good. The first bite was an explosion of flavor, I absolutely loved it. Beautiful and generous topping of freshly grated parmesan on top too. Can’t wait to try out the other sandwiches, or the full dinner menu of items!

Checked it out for dinner last night with the kids and was blown away. Didn’t know what to expect but we love checking out food spots in Gardena. Their lunch menu is sandwich centric, but for dinner they have a large menu with various Korean and Korean Italian fusion items. Each item we ordered had a twist that made it such a fun food experience. My kids weren’t even hungry but ate up a storm and mentioned they felt like they were on Culinary Class Wars. We can’t wait to go back and make our way thru the entire menu.
There are a few go-to spots in Gardena/Southbay for enjoying alcohol with Korean food. This spot is by far the best we’ve had in the area. So happy to have discovered Woowa!
Spicy cucumber salad – tangy Korean style cucumber salad that would go great even as a side dish with their meat dishes
Sotteok Sotteok – classic Korean street food with rice cakes and sausages deep fried and service with sweet chili sauce. First time seeing the rice cakes battered and fried which made for a better texture.
Rose Pasta w/meatballs – perfectly cooked pasta with rich pink sauce and meatballs. Kids loved this dish!
Spicy Cream Korean Gnocchi – little chewy pasta (soojehbi) in cream sauce with a bit of heat to balance out the richness. My husband and I loved this one. Unexpected combo of Korean dough flakes and Italian cuisine.
Oyster Ajillo w/bread – oysters cooked in spicy garlicky olive oil. Top a few of those on a slice of bread and absolutely heavenly! We were drinking beer, but made me want to switch over to wine and call my girlfriends over immediately.
Flavors on point and Portions were generous. Will be back soon to try their lunch menu and other dinner menu items!

Huge portions and really friendly staff! Loved the music and food. Gotta come back to try more food. We got the Redondo Beach pancake, risotto, and soy pork jowl.

I never leave reviews, but I stumbled upon this place at around 8PM on a Thursday night and was worried when I was the only one in there. Joon quickly welcomed me, handed me the menu, and went back to finishing something up in the kitchen. I ordered Galbi Fries and a side of white rice and what came out blew my mind. Not to mention he offered a sample of the scallion pancakes, arguably the best I ever had. Everything was 10/10, I immediately told my wife about it and said were coming back soon despite it being 60 miles away from us.

We stopped by here for a friend’s birthday dinner; food was on point and worthy of the occasion! We were immediately greeted with a welcome appetizer that warned us of the good flavors to come. We ordered too much food cuz we wanted to try it all- now we have to come back to try more! People serving us were super friendly too! If the food wasn’t enough of a reason to come back, coming to support good people in with a new business should keep you coming back.
